The event brings the promise of free and cheap tacos. Now if only it could coincide with National Guacamole Day or National Margarita Day for a real rager.
While most restaurants haven’t announced their deals for National Taco Day 2024, there are plenty of restaurants you can expect to drop free tacos. For example, for the past two years, Taco Bell has released their $10 Taco Lover’s Pass which gave customers free tacos for 30 days. We’ll show you exactly what you can expect from National Taco Day in 2024.

Enjoy Taco Tuesday every week at Chevys Fresh Mex by taking advantage of their build-your-own-taco bar ($3/taco). It starts at 3 p.m. and lasts till close. You can get barbacoa, steak, chicken, or carnitas on a flour tortilla.

California Tortilla gave away a free taco (regularly $4.29) coupon with every purchase made on National Taco Day 2023. The coupon could be used from Oct. 5 – 11, 2023.
Chevys Fresh Mex: Free Chevys Taco Plate with the purchase of an entree on National Taco Day 2023.
When you visited Chevys Fresh Mex on National Taco Day 2023, you could have grabbed a Chevys Taco Plate (up to a $16.50 value) for free with the purchase of an entree. This deal was available in person.
Chronic Tacos: BOGO free tacos all day long on Oct. 4, 2023.
When you ordered through the Chronic Tacos app on Oct. 4, 2023, you could have bought BOGO free tacos all day long. This offer was only available through the app; you could not claim this deal in person.
Chuy’s: Adding a ground beef taco to your meal only cost $1 on National Taco Day 2023.
Chuy’s celebrated National Taco Day by giving all customers the option to add a ground beef taco (regularly $5.22) to their meal for only $1 — an 80.8% discount. Plus, you could have added a tequila floater to your frozen margarita for $1.
The restaurant was also giving customers dressed as a taco a free dine-in entree of their choice. These deals were only available in person (after all, they gotta see that taco costume).

Del Taco: Five Snack Tacos for $3 every Wednesday for Tacoberfest 2023.
For the entire month of October, Del Taco is celebrating Tacoberfest. Everyday until Oct. 28, Del Taco Rewards members can grab a new deal through the app. Plus, every Wednesday, including National Taco Day 2023, you can pick up five Snack Tacos (regularly $5.00) for only $3 — a 40% discount.
El Pollo Loco: Free taco with a two taco purchase for rewards members on National Taco Day 2023.
El Pollo Loco Rewards members could have grabbed a free taco (reg. $2.79) when they purchased two tacos on National Taco Day 2023. This deal was only valid online and in-person through the Rewards app.
Plus, from Oct. 2 to 4, 2023, if you purchased a $30 gift card, you could have gotten a free Tacos al Carbon Fire-grilled Combo (regularly $6.99) coupon. This coupon was valid until Nov. 4, 2023, and it could only be claimed online through the app or website.
El Torito: Free Street Taco Trio with the purchase of another entree on Oct. 4, 2023.
When you visiedt El Torito on Oct. 4, 2023, you coul dhave grabbed a free Street Taco Trio (up to a $17.50 value) when you purchased an entree of equal or greater value. This deal was only available to all customers in-person.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop: Rewards members received two free tacos with a $5 purchase on Oct. 4, 2023.
If you were a member of the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop Rewards program, you would have received coupon for two free tacos (priced at $3.09) with a $5 purchase sent to your account on Oct. 4, 2023.
Non-rewards members could have gotten tacos from Fuzzy’s Taco Shop for $1.50 each (up to 10 discounted tacos per order) on National Taco Day 2023. Both deals were available in person and online through the Fuzzy’s website and app.

Jack in the Box: Two Monster Tacos are $0.99 on Oct. 4, 2023.
Jack in the Box brought back their Angry Monster Tacos (regularly $3.00 for a pack of two) for the month of October in 2023, and on National Taco Day 2023, Jack in the Box Rewards members were able to grab two Monster Tacos for only $0.99 — a 67% discount.

Taco John’s: Rewards members received a free Taco Bravo with any purchase on Oct. 4, 2023.
