When will The North Face Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales start in 2024?
If you’re buying directly from The North Face website, holiday shopping deals won’t be available until Nov. 29, 2024, aka Black Friday. In the past, they haven’t released information until a few days before their sale begins. However, deals tend to be available for two days after Thanksgiving.
In 2023, the North Face stores were closed for Thanksgiving and we can expect the same next year, but they reopened on Black Friday for regular business hours. My local store opened at 10 a.m. but check with the store near you to confirm their hours. You can also shop online 24/7.
The North Face’s Black Friday ad dropped on Nov. 20.
The North Face Black Friday ads usually don’t drop until a few days before Black Friday Week. In 2022, we saw the ad drop on the Monday before Black Friday, and discounts were “while supplies last,” according to them. In 2023, the ad dropped on Nov. 20. We predict the 2024 ad to release on Nov. 25.
TheNorthFace.com hosts a 24-hour Cyber Monday sale every year.
TheNorthFace.com Cyber Monday sale happens as a one-day event and is held online only. The event took place on Nov. 27, 2023, aka the Monday after Thanksgiving, and was a continuation of their Black Friday sale, with up to 40% off select jackets and 30% off sale- and full-price goods for XPLR Pass members. During the sale in 2022, I saw 40% off select men’s parkas and 30% off jackets.
For 2024, we anticipate similar deals starting Dec. 2. And since many retailers have extended their Cyber Monday sales to last an extra day or two, we think there’s a chance TNF might follow suit.
If you’re not happy with your purchase, The North Face will allow returns within 60 days after your purchase.
Luckily, the store offers free returns, and you’ll have 60 days to return items you don’t want. This includes sale items and Black Friday purchases. Just note that according to the store’s official policy, items are only eligible for return if they’re unused, unwashed, and unaltered.
Make sure to have your order number or confirmation number on hand, plus your original receipt at the time of issuing your return.

Yep, the North Face has its own rewards program that pays off if you’re a regular customer. You can sign up for The North Face XPLR Pass at any time to get a Loyalty discount. Once you earn 100 points (spend $100), you earn a $10 reward.
You’d also get first dibs on sales, discounts, coupons, and points on purchases. The XPLR Pass gives one point for every dollar you spend. They also give you 10% off your first online purchase for signing up.
You can even get a $10 gift card if you ever trade in gently-used items as an XPLR Pass member.
You don’t have to worry about paying for shipping when shopping on The North Face’s website.
The North Face always offers free three-day shipping with no minimum purchase required, even during Black Friday. You can also use free store pickup if it’s more convenient and you don’t want to wait.

Overstock sites offer discounts of up to 77% on name-brand North Face goods.
Ever thought you could get a $20 North Face fleece? I actually got one on Proozy during the holiday season and when it showed up, it was legit. The only catch was I didn’t get to choose the color. That’s not usually the norm but it’s important to note that inventory can be limited on overstock sites. You might only find a few sizes or colors. Similarly, you might find a lot of deals on last year’s styles, or get a lot of discounts on summer clothing during the holiday season.
Overall, if you’re not picky you can find some of the best deals on overstock sites. I like to shop at these sites in late October and early November since that’s when a lot of stores are clearing out inventory to make space for holiday goods. Macy’s doesn’t allow coupons for The North Face products, but the sales can be great on their own. Buy during Black Friday when prices reach 50% off — and if you don’t meet the minimum $25 for free shipping — opt for in-store pickup, which is free.
