Aldi holiday items are some of my favorite Aldi Finds to hunt for every Wednesday starting right before Halloween all the way through December. From their Aldi Advent calendars and ceramic village houses to the limited-edition holiday snacks, the seasonal items at Aldi are never purchases I regret. And my family already knows that during the holidays, I will be at Aldi every Wednesday morning to see all the latest Aldi Finds!
With all the money I save by doing my grocery shopping at Aldi, that just means I have more left in my budget to spend on Aldi’s holiday items.
If you’ve never shopped Aldi deals before, you’ll want to first brush up on our Aldi shopping tips before you jump into this list. You should also know that Aldi’s return policy — aka the “Twice as Nice” guarantee — will let you return or exchange almost any Aldi store-brand food product you’re not happy with, except for alcohol and non-food items.

Best Aldi Holiday Food Items That Should Be Out in December

According to Aldi, this year’s holiday food selection will be their biggest ever, with more than 70 new items (most priced under $10). Here are a few of the holiday food items we expect to see.
Holiday-Shaped Cheese, $4.49
Last year they had holiday cheese that came in festive shapes and flavors like cheddar cheese port wine, cheddar caramelized onion, and mature cheddar. Expect to see these arrive around the last week of November.
Hot Cocoa Bombs 3-Pack, $5.99
This is one of the new items Aldi announced is coming for 2023, along with Choceur Hot Cocoa Melting Chocolate Snowmen for $2.49.
Aldi Christmas Gnocchi
For the past few years, Aldi has offered fun holiday-shaped gnocchi. In 2021 they offered two options for Christmas gnocchis. One bag had white stars with spinach-flavored Christmas trees, and one had white mittens and red Santa hats. The gnocchi typically arrives in the first week of December.
Aldi Jumbo Cookie Kits
Throughout the year, Aldi offers festive jumbo cookie kits. During the holidays, you may spot one called “Reindeer Crunch” or “Santa’s Sugar & Spice.” The reindeer crunch jumbo cookie kit includes a white chocolate cranberry cookie mix with pecan pieces. The Santa’s sugar and spice jumbo cookie kit consists of a caramel, sugar, and spice cookie mix. Both include a 9-inch metal pan to bake the cookies in, too.
Aldi Christmas Cookies, $2.29 and up
Once we get into November and December, look for decadent holiday treats like Lofthouse holiday shortbread cookies ($3.89), Clancy’s dipped peppermint pretzel stars ($2.49), drizzled kettle corn, Benton’s candy cane sandwich creme cookies ($2.29), red velvet cream cheese cookies ($3.95), cookie mug toppers ($2.49), and even keto Christmas cookies.
Snowflake Ice Cream Cones, $3.99
During November and December, you can find a four-pack of Sundae Shoppe Snowflake ice cream cones for $3.99.
Stollen Bites, $4.99
Many years ago, I worked in a bakery with a traditional German baker. The holidays were the best time of year because he would make homemade stollen. Nothing compared to his stollen, but Aldi comes close — after all, they are a German-based grocery store. Last year, they had 12-ounce apple and marzipan stollen bites for just $4.99 each.
Gingerbread House Kits, $7.85
In the Aldi Finds ad for Nov. 23 last year, they had three choices of Benton’s gingerbread kits (25.6 ounces – 30.9 ounces) for $7.85 each.
You could choose from a traditional gingerbread house, a train kit, or a mini village kit.
More holiday food items to look for:
- Holiday Macarons, 18-count, $7.99
- L’Oven Fresh Gingerbread or Cranberry Orange Breakfast Bread, $4.29
- Winter Chocolate Truffles, $5.49
Remember that holiday items at Aldi won’t get restocked.

Aldi’s holiday items get released as Aldi Finds, which are limited-time specialty products that range from unique foods and home goods to unexpected items like gardening essentials and pet accessories. Once these items are gone, they won’t get restocked. If they linger past the first week, you may find them on the shelves at a reduced price later. But for the popular items, it’s not likely.
If you want the very best selection of Aldi Finds, mark your calendar for Wednesday mornings at store opening time. I’ve even visited my store on Tuesday nights before closing to scoop up the items as they get put out on shelves!
