Target Black Friday 2024 is a multi-event sale with savings daily and all month.
The first event of Target’s early Black Friday 2024 deals kicked off on Nov. 1, with Deal of the Day savings for Target Circle members and new weeklong deals every Sunday. On Fridays, you can check out the Target's Weekly Ad to preview the deals for the week ahead.
The Black Friday weekly deals started Nov. 24, leading into the big Black Friday sale starting Thursday, Nov. 28 online and Nov. 29 in-stores.
For the first time, Target offered early deals Nov. 7 - 9, 2024, which Target is calling their "Early Black Friday Sale, a new three-day holiday deals event."
Target Black Friday started Nov. 1, and the Black Friday ad started Nov. 24, while the official 3-day sale will start on Nov. 28.
Target started daily deals on Nov. 1. During this time, Target Circle members could save up to 50% on daily deals. Event 2 picked up on Nov. 24, leading to a 3-day Black Friday sale beginning online on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, and in stores on Nov. 29. Exclusive online deals will drop mid-event on Target.com and in the Target app, bringing even more ways to save.

All Target Black Friday deals are available online first on Nov. 28.
All of the Target deals throughout the month of November will be available at Target.com, with the Target app and in stores.
But the Black Friday deals will starts online Thursday, Nov. 28 and continue in stores Friday, Nov. 29.
Target stores are closed on Thanksgiving.
Target stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day 2024. However, you can still shop for Black Friday deals in the app and on Target.com.
Target stores open at 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
We're expecting Target stores to open at 7 a.m. on Black Friday 2024. Target usually keeps stores open later than normal from Thanksgiving to Christmas — some locations are open till midnight through the holiday season.
Target doesn't have doorbusters during their Black Friday sale.
Target hasn't had Black Friday doorbusters since 2019. We don't expect them to return this year or in future Black Friday sales.
Paid Target 360 Circle members don't get early access to deals.
Target Circle 360 members and Target Circle Card holders don’t get early access to Black Friday sales anymore. But don't forget that if you use your Circle Card, you'll still save 5%.

Here’s the deal on Target policies on Black Friday:
Price Matching: Target’s Price Match Policy is a year-round thing. If you find a lower price for the same item at one of Target’s competitors, you can ask Target to match the lower price, and they’ll pay you back the difference. Target will match Black Friday prices at Amazon and Walmart. However, Target doesn’t match prices from third-party sellers, Amazon Prime Lightning Deals, or exclusive Prime offers. They also don’t match competitor doorbusters or closeout sales.
Price Adjustment: Request a price adjustment if the Target price drops on or before Dec. 24. Target’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee covers you with the lowest price Nov. 7 - Dec. 24
Rain Checks: Since all of Target's Black Friday deals are labeled "while supplies last," which is an exception to their rain check policy, there are no rain checks on any Black Friday deals.
Shipping: Spend at least $35 online or in-app to get free shipping. You can also get free shipping without a minimum spend when you pay with a Target debit, credit, or reloadable card or are a Target 360 member.
Local Delivery: Target local delivery costs $9.99 (on orders of $35 or more) for free Target Circle members and Circle Card holders. Same-day delivery is free with Target Circle 360 membership (but your order still has to be $35 or more).
Returns: Target hasn't announced any specifics about this year's holiday return policy. But in 2023, not all Target items had extended holiday return windows. The only exceptions were Apple products and mobile phones:
Apple Products: The 2023 holiday return deadline was Jan. 9, 2024 (or Feb. 8, 2024, with a Target Circle Card).
Mobile Phones (purchased in store or online via Order Pickup): The 2023 holiday return was Jan. 8, 2024 (or Feb. 7, 2024, with a Target Circle Card).
Target doesn't offer layaway during the holiday season, but they do have a payment plan option.
Target doesn't offer layaway anytime. However, don’t be afraid to use Target’s buy now pay later option if you can’t swing the upfront costs.
You can break your Target Black Friday purchases into separate payments with Affirm. It lets you pay for your items over a 3-, 6-, or 12-month period without late fees, hidden fees, or any other added charges. However, you do have to pay a 10% – 36% interest rate, depending on your credit.
When you check out on Target.com or in the app, select Affirm as your payment method. Be sure to download the Affirm app or sign in on Affirm.com to make easy payments.
Target Cyber Monday deals begin the Sunday after Thanksgiving, possibly with bigger discounts than Black Friday.
Target’s Cyber Monday Sale will likely go live on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024. You can expect the Cyber sale to run for two days, with online-only deals on Target.com.
Target’s Cyber Monday sale may have even bigger discounts than Black Friday.
For the past two years, a few of Target’s best Black Friday deals got an even lower price for Cyber Monday, thanks to an online-only promo code for an extra 15% off.
Aside from the KitchenAid Stand Mixer, which dropped to $201 for Cyber Monday 2023, two other top small appliances got deeper discounts after Black Friday. The Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer dropped to $84.99 (regularly $169.99), and the Mr. Coffee Iced Coffee Maker dropped to $16.99 (regularly $34.99).
