If you love a great deal like me, you’re probably a huge fan of Five Below, where (almost) everything is $5 or less. And unlike at the regular dollar store — which is an in-person type of shopping experience — you can shop online at FiveBelow.com. It’s super convenient when you need to grab quirky gifts, beauty items, pet supplies, seasonal decor, and more. So now for the big question: how can you get Five Below free shipping?
I mean, you’re already scoring awesome deals, so it almost feels selfish to expect free shipping, too, right? Oh well, call me selfish, but I despise paying extra for delivery when I shop online as I’m sure you do, too. But here’s the thing — Five Below free shipping just isn’t a thing. Or at least not in the traditional sense.
However, there are a couple of ways for you to shop Five Below online and not have to pay shipping costs. Here are all my top tricks.

Buy online and pick up in store when there’s no Five Below free shipping.
I get it — the point of shopping online is to avoid the stores. But buying online and picking up in store is the next best option, and it’s free! If you have a Five Below store near you, all you have to do is shop their website and select the option to pick up in store. You’ll have to schlep on over to get your goods, but at least the items have already been picked out, paid for, and bagged for your convenience, which is still a huge time saver.
In-store pickup at Five Below is always free, and it’s pretty simple. Once your order is ready, you’ll get a confirmation email, usually within a few hours. Once you’ve been notified, you can head that way. You’ll have to go inside the store (there’s no curbside pickup option), but then you just show your pickup order number and photo ID and an associate will get your order for you.

Use your Instacart Plus account to get free shipping from Five Below.
Another way to save on shipping is if you have an Instacart Plus account. Five Below partners with the third-party delivery service Instacart to offer same-day delivery. If you already happen to pay for the premium Instacart Plus service, that means you don’t pay any delivery fees as long as your order is over $35.
The shopping experience will be slightly different since you’ll have to shop via the Instacart app (iOS / Android) or website. Once you submit your order, you’ll be connected with your Instacart shopper to coordinate your Five Below delivery.
If you just have plain ol’ Instacart, then you’ll pay a fee of $5.99. As luck would have it, when I checked, there was a free delivery available if I placed the order in a certain time frame, so you may get lucky with free delivery anyway. Either way, it’s actually faster and about $2 cheaper to go this route than paying for shipping from Five Below (we’ll go over the shipping costs in a minute).

Good luck finding a Five Below free shipping code that works.
Many stores offer occasional free shipping promo codes for shopping events, during holiday sales, or if you spend a certain amount. And if you do a Google search (go ahead, I’ll wait), you’ll see that there are lots of Five Below free shipping codes out there in the wild. Unfortunately, I haven’t been successful in finding a free shipping code for Five Below that actually works. It’s kinda the same struggle as finding a Bath & Body Works free shipping promo code.
And it’s not just me — Reddit users complain about this issue with Five Below, too. In other words, if you stumble upon free shipping codes, give them a try, but don’t get your hopes up too high.
What does Five Below shipping cost anyway?
If you don’t feel like taking a ride to the store or using Instacart for delivery — or if you don’t have a Five Below near you — then you’ll be forced to pay for Five Below shipping. It’s a flat rate fee of $7.95 no matter how much (or how little) you order, so you’ll want to make it worthwhile.
It won’t benefit you to order just one or two small items at $5 or less, but if you’re loading up on collector’s items from the latest Five Below Squishmallows drop or grabbing lots of decorative items for a dorm room or apartment, then you can still come out ahead thanks to the overall savings you’ll be getting. Plus, as much as it may pain you to pay for shipping, when it comes down to it, your time is probably worth $7.95, isn’t it?
Keep in mind that orders typically take five to seven business days to arrive, so if Amazon Prime has you spoiled and you can’t wait that long, your best bet is to try their free in-store pickup.
