In 2022, the L.L.Bean Black Friday ad dropped on Black Friday itself (Nov. 25, 2022), in an email to their subscribers about the Black Friday sale. We are expecting a similar details this year.

L.L.Bean stores open at their normal time (10 a.m.) on Black Friday. Stores will close at 7 p.m. Call your local L.L.Bean store to make sure their holiday hours aren’t different. And, of course, the flagship store in Freeport, Maine is always open 24 hours a day.
5. Expect to save up to 71% with L.L. Bean Black Friday deals.
In 2022, L.L. Bean offered 10% off your purchase (in stores and online) with code WONDER10. This deal lasted through Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022.
L.L. Bean also had some big discounts in their online sale section. You could save up to 80% on select apparel, shoes, and accessories. The best part? You can even filter your search by percent discount, so you only see items up to 50%, 60%, or even 70% off!

For the last three years, L.L.Bean offered Black Friday deals online and in stores. The online deals were the same as the deals in stores. In 2022, the L.L. Bean sale ended on Cyber Monday (Nov. 28).

In past Black Friday sales, L.L.Bean offered discounts of up to 20%, but that was on a good year. In 2021, they marked down only one item by 15% — the Wicked Good Slippers. In 2022, it was a 10% discount on your order with promo code WONDER10.
8. Spend $50 or more to get free shipping at L.L.Bean.com during Black Friday.
As always, L.L.Bean offers free standard shipping on orders of $50 or more. If you use a promo code or discount, you still have to reach the $50 minimum to get free shipping on your Black Friday order.
The only way to get L.L.Bean free shipping with no minimum is to have the L.L.Bean Mastercard.
9. Don’t forget that the L.L.Bean Cyber Monday sale is a thing, too.
If you missed L.L.Bean’s Black Friday sale, you can still score deals on Cyber Monday. L.L.Bean’s Cyber Monday deals are the same as the ones from Black Friday.

L.L.Bean sales don’t come around that often, but that doesn’t mean you can’t save big. Every day at 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET, you’ll see a “Two-a-Day Daily Markdown” on the L.L.Bean website.
During these markdowns, they offer a discount on one item in the morning (usually clothing or travel gear), with savings of up to 65% off. Then at 2 p.m., they mark down a different item, which is on sale until the next day at 6 a.m. These flash deals are usually pretty good, so set a reminder to check their site if you’re hunting for something special.
You’ll also find L.L. Bean sales at the end of every season (which they call their “End of Season Sale”). These sales offer up to 50% off clothing, swimsuits, accessories, and more before the start of the next season.
12. Buy a discounted L.L.Bean gift card from Raise.com and save up to 14%.
If you already know you’re going to shop at L.L.Bean during the holidays, check the current deals on discounted gift cards on Raise.com. When I checked, I found $50 L.L.Bean gift cards for only $43.27 — that’s a savings of around 13.5% for pretty much no effort. You can use the discounted gift card online or in-store… or as a stocking stuffer.

13. Get a 10% off coupon code when you sign up for L.L.Bean emails.
If you sign up for the L.L.Bean newsletter, you can get 10% off your first order. Just enter your email address, check your email for a special code, and use that code at checkout. It can take up to 2 hours to get the code in your inbox.
14. Medical professionals, teachers, college students, and military members get 10% off.
L.L.Bean gives you a 10% discount if you’re a medical professional, active or retired member of the military, teacher, or college student. You can use this discount code up to five times. Note: You’ll need to provide documentation to verify your employment status for these special discounts.

15. You have 365 days to return L.L.Bean items for a full refund.
Thanks to L.L.Bean’s generous return policy, you can return any product to a store or outlet within one year for a full refund. Just make sure you have a receipt if you made your purchase in store or a packing slip if you bought it online. You can return items that are worn as long as you have the proof of purchase and bring it back before the one-year return mark.
If you ship your return or exchange through the mail, there’s a $6.50 charge per package. Skip the return shipping and bring your items to an L.L.Bean store near you to return them for free.
Heads up: Mailed returns can take up to three weeks to process. In most cases, L.L.Bean will refund the amount back to the original payment method. Need to return an L.L.Bean gift card? You’ll get reimbursed with store credit.
