Lowe’s announced their very first SpringFest event for April 2021: free Garden to Go kits all month long! I’ll tell you how to get yours and where to pick it up. Here’s what you should expect for Lowe’s SpringFest event.

You could grab free Lowe’s Garden to Go kits on Thursdays when you register online.

To grab a free Garden-to-Go kit, all you had to do is register on Lowe’s website starting April 1. Basically, you just needed to register for your kit at midnight (12:00 a.m. ET) one week before the event starts so you don’t miss out!

Every Thursday of SpringFest, you could pick up a Garden-to-Go kit curbside with your order, or grab it in store at the customer service desk.


Lowe’s Butterfly Quest was available April 29.

On April 29 between 5-7 p.m. ET, you could grab the Lowe’s Butterfly Quest kit that contains wood to build a butterfly house along with paint, paintbrush, and seeds to dress it up. Registration began at midnight ET on April 22, 2021.


Lowe’s celebrated Earth Day with a free tree sapling on April 22.

In honor of Earth Day, Lowe’s was giving away 500,000 tree saplings between 5-7 p.m. ET. Registration began at midnight ET on April 15, 2021.


Lowe’s offered the Mystery Garden Pinata on April 15.

For the second Garden-to-Go kit, Lowe’s gave away the Mystery Garden Pinata, which came with mystery seed packets and growfetti (confetti made out of biodegradable seed paper), between 5-7 p.m. ET. Registration began at midnight ET on April 8, 2021.

The first Lowe’s SpringFest freebie was a Miracle Grow Garden-to-Go kit that included unique recipes from Amanda Frederickson, a food stylist and pro cook. The kit was available on Thursday April 8, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
