There is a LOT we love about Bath & Body Works (Candle Day sale, anybody!?) If you’re a regular like me, you’ll want to pay attention: Bath & Body Works is rolling out a new rewards program called My Bath & Body Works — giving us another major tool to help us save money while shopping there.

(Psst! If you haven’t yet, download the KCL app and set B&BW as a favorite! We will alert you to all the Bath and Body Works coupons and deals!)

Here’s what you need to know:

Get a freebie worth up to $16.50 when you spend $75.

Members earn 1 point per $1 spent, and once you accumulate 75 points, you’re eligible for a regular-priced freebie valued at $16.50 or less. (You can’t apply the $16.50 to a higher-priced item, and sale prices aren’t included.)

Lots of aromatherapy items, body scrubs, and body oils are $16.50; that’s what you want to get to maximize your reward (and those items almost never go on sale). If you need a candle, single-wick candles are $14.50. Skip the soaps; the most expensive soap is $8.50.

Y’all — that’s up to 22% cash back!

Check to see if My Bath & Body Works is up and running in your area.

My Bath & Body Works is being tested in a number of different areas right now, but not everyone has access to this loyalty program.

First things first — visit the My Bath & Body Works website to check your zip code or browse their list to see if the program is operating near you. If it is, you’ll be able to sign up. (Note: this is NOT the same as signing up for a regular Bath & Body Works online account. You have to do it through the My Bath & Body Works page.)

And if you do sign up, don’t expect to be able to spend your rewards at all stores; you’re only able to use them at other participating stores, or by calling Bath & Body Works customer service at (877) 832-9272.

But if it isn’t in your area yet, there are still ways to earn/spend points.

Maybe you don’t live in an area where they’re doing the pilot program for My Bath & Body Works. No problem. Just find a zip code that does have it, and you’ll be able to sign up online.

You won’t be able to scan your barcode or earn points at locations that aren’t participating yet — but you will be able to earn and spend points right away on online purchases. The points will hit your account as soon as your online orders ship.

Redeem up to eight rewards at once.

If you’ve stockpiled My Bath & Body rewards points, they’ll let you use up to eight Rewards in one transaction (one freebie of up to $16.50 per Reward). Make sure you tell the cashier when you’re ready to use Rewards.

Then, when you scan your barcode at the checkout, the register will automatically apply your available rewards to the highest-priced eligible items.

You either need an app or computer to redeem rewards.

The B&BW app (iOS / Android) is the easiest way to earn and spend points at Bath & Body Works. At checkout, scan your personal barcode from the Wallet section of the Bath & Body Works app to earn points for your purchases or redeem your 75-point Rewards.

You can also access “My Rewards Wallet” when logged in to, where you can print your barcode and bring it with you to the store.

Get early access to Candle Day every year.

Rewards member get to shop the super-popular Candle Day sale online a whole 24 hours before everyone else. Look for early access to begin this year at 12:01 a.m. on December 3.
