Although I have quite a stockpile of razors in my bathroom closet, I still try to make my razors last as long as possible. Unfortunately, sometimes I wait a little too long to replace my razor and wind up with razor nicks and burns! Luckily, I always keep a few tea bags handy to soothe those irritations. The tea, which is rich in tannic acid, won’t only help ease the pain but will reduce the redness and bumps associated with razor burn. If you find yourself with razor burn, grab a tea bag and soak it in cool or lukewarm water. Next, squeeze the bag to remove the excess water and apply it to the affected area. Keep the tea bag on the area for a few minutes to allow the tea to penetrate the area. Lastly, while you’re waiting for the tea to ease the pain, go ahead and throw out that old razor blade!
