All the Reasons I'm Stocking Up on DiGiorno Classic Crust Pizza This Month

DiGiorno just launched a brand new line — DiGiorno Classic Crust — and it’s available now at Walmart for just $5.24 a pie. They come in four different varieties: Cheese, Pepperoni, Supreme, and Meat Lovers. Plus, now through Dec. 31, you can get a $10 Fanatics eGift card and enter to win major prizes (like an 80-inch TV) when you buy $10 of DiGiorno Classic Crust Pizza at Walmart or on Walmart.com.

Here are all of the reasons why I’m stocking up on the new line at Walmart. Be sure to text WALMART to 57299 and be the first to know about the best Walmart deals.

1. DiGiorno Classic Crust pizzas are less expensive than the specialty pizzas from delivery.

DiGiorno Classic Crust Pizzas are 12 inches in diameter — that’s roughly the same size as a medium pie from a leading delivery chain. If I buy one DiGiorno’s Classic Crust Supreme and one Meat Lovers Classic Crust at Walmart, my total will be $10.48. However, if I order delivery, I’ll pay as much as $31.98 for two medium pizzas. After the delivery charge, tax, and tip, my total will be over $45. In fact, I could buy eight DiGiorno Classic Crust Pizzas at Walmart for what I’d spend on two pies delivered from Domino’s — and still have money left over.

2. I can feed my family of four for $10.48 — and have leftovers for lunch the next day.

Since my family likes different toppings, I always pick up a few different pizza varieties. But I love that two DiGiorno Classic Crust pizzas will feed my family of four for just $2.62 per person. And there are always a few leftover slices that I can quickly heat up for an easy lunch the following day.  

3. Now through Dec. 31, you can get a $10 Fanatics eGift card when you purchase $10 of DiGiorno Classic Crust pizza at Walmart or Walmart.com.

If your partner or kids are sports-lovers, then you know how expensive team apparel can be. There’s a limit of 10 gift cards per person/email address, so this means if you buy $100 worth of DiGiorno Classic Crust pizzas — or 20 pies — at Walmart, you can get 10 separate $10 Fanatics eGift cards – just make sure you have 10 separate qualifying receipts. That’s a total of $100 in gift cards, which basically means all that pizza was free. Since frozen pizza can stay in the freezer for months, you’ve got plenty of time to chow down. 

4. Enter The DiGiorno Pizza Kickoff sweepstakes for a chance to win the Ultimate Watch Party Grand Prize, valued at over $12,000.

So that means if I stock up and buy eight DiGiorno Classic Crust pizzas in a single transaction at Walmart.com, I’ll pay $41.92. But then I'll get the $10 Fanatics eGift card and $20 Visa Rewards Card, it’s like paying $11.92 for eight DiGiorno pizzas — that’s only $1.49 per pizza!
