You made your purchase. You love what you bought. Now, love it even more by making money off that purchase.

1. Paribus helps you get price adjustments.

Paribus tracks prices on your online purchases and when the app detects a price drop it’ll request a price adjustment for you.

Depending on what you buy, you can save anywhere from $5 to $30 in a month. Just sign up once with your email and your receipts are picked up automatically.

Don’t worry, they completely keep your information safe. See my detailed review of Paribus here.

2. Citibank’s Citi Price Rewind searches for price drops 60 days after purchase so you don’t have to.

Have a Citi card? Citibank’s Citi Price Rewind is a free service for cardholders that ensures you get the best price for a product—even after you purchase it.

Citibank searches hundreds of online merchants’ prices for you up to 60 days after you make a purchase. When Citi finds a lower price, simply request a price adjustment directly through them.

Note: Even if you don’t have a Citi card, you can still request price adjustments yourself. As long as you have your receipt, most stores will allow price adjustments up to 14 days after a purchase.

3. Ibotta gives you money back just for shopping.

If you don’t have Ibotta, I recommend getting it ASAP!

You get cash back for buying the products you were going to buy anyway. This free app pays you cash via PayPal for your purchases both at grocery stores and with retailers.

Grocery savings tend to range from $.25 to over $1. Use Ibotta at over 500,000 stores including drugstores, Walmart, and Target.

No need to use your phone while shopping; you can do all the work when you get home!

All new users receive a $10 sign-on bonus when you sign up and redeem your first offer. Plus, use our link and receive an extra $1.00–for a grand total of $11.

You gotta Ibotta. Here’s literally everything you need to know about my second favorite app!

4. Checkout 51‘s rebates can easily be stacked with other savings–no smartphone needed.

Like Ibotta, Checkout 51 gives you cash back for everyday purchases just by uploading a receipt. But unlike Ibotta, you don’t need a smartphone to access the rebates.

Oftentimes, you can find rebates for the same product on both Ibotta and Checkout 51, which allows you to double your savings.

When you stack coupons on top of sale prices before completing a transaction, then upload your receipt into rebate apps like Checkout 51 and Ibotta after a transaction, the savings are enormous!

All new users get $1.00 when you sign up and redeem your first offer.

When you see all the things Checkout 51 can do, you’ll never throw away your receipt again.

5. Receipt Pal rewards you for your entire transaction, not just one or two items.

Receipt Pal is a big-picture kind of mobile app.

It doesn’t matter what you buy because it focuses on your entire transaction—whether you buy groceries or gas or stuff online. Get points that add up to gift cards with every photo of a receipt that you submit.

While you might not make as much money as you would with Ibotta or Checkout 51, Receipt Pal is an easy way to earn without needing to do more than snap a photo.

6. Receipt Hog will give you virtual coins that turn into real cash just for snapping a photo of your receipt.

Receipt Hog is similar to ReceiptPal—all you have to do is snap a photo of your receipt.

It works on a coin system, eventually allowing you to cash out at $5 (1,000 coins). Choose between PayPal or Amazon credit when it’s time to reap the rewards.

Receipt Hog also gets into game playing. When you scan a receipt, you’ll get to play Hog Slots with an opportunity to win money.

7. Yaarlo gives you up to 5% cash back on every purchase.

Yaarlo is another phone app that pays you for your receipts, but you stand to reap more than its competitors.

Users can expect to earn .1% – 5% cash back on a total purchase. This means there’s the potential to make $5 off a $100 receipt. Cash out with PayPal or a gift card.

8. Receipts with survey invitations give you the opportunity to earn free stuff.

More and more stores and restaurants give customers the opportunity to earn free meals and prizes just by completing short customer satisfaction surveys (check the bottom of receipts for details).

We’re not talking small change either.

A Dollar Tree near me once had two winners in one week who received $500 shopping sprees just for filling out their surveys.

9. Mail-in cash rebates can be found on retailer websites.

By far, the most popular type of rebate is an old-fashioned, mail-in rebate.

With mail-in rebates you pay full price for your purchase and get money back later from the manufacturer.

Kohl’s and Lowe’s house all their rebate offers right on their websites, making it easy and convenient to get cash back after your purchase. Just send a copy of your receipt, and get money back in the form of a check or debit card.

It might take a few weeks, but it’s worth the wait.

10. Ebates will give you cash back on purchases when you shop through their website.

Online cash rebates are similar to mail-in rebates, but with less hassle.

Best of all, sites like Ebates will get you up to 40% back in rebates or could save you up to 14% on everyday items you buy.

11. Kellogg’s Family Rewards automatically adds points to your account when you link a store’s loyalty card.

With expanded brands and new technology, Kellogg’s has made it easier to get member points.

Now you can buy Kellogg’s products and collect points by uploading your receipt, connecting your retailer loyalty card to your KFR account, or manually entering bonus codes.

Those points turn into rewards like high-value coupons, gift cards, magazine subscriptions, and so much more.

12. Pampers Gifts to Grow gives you free toys and gifts for buying diapers and wipes.

As a member of Pampers Rewards, you earn points that can be redeemed for some great gifts.

Enter codes from the Pampers diapers and wipes you buy to earn points. You can also earn by reviewing products, reading articles, watching videos, and plugging in special bonus-offer codes.

If you already use Pampers, this is a great way to earn rewards long after you’ve changed diapers and put the kids to bed.

See how I’m getting free toys and gifts by purchasing Pampers here.
