Get half off Starbucks drinks today, Thursday, April 25, 2024.
This is a pretty fantastic deal. I typically only see deals up to 50% off when they have BOGO free drinks. But I love this deal because you don't have to purchase multiple drinks.
So even if you're hanging solo this afternoon, you can still get half off your Starbucks order from noon - 6 p.m. Be sure to activate the half-off offer in your Starbucks app before you make your purchase. If you don't activate the deal, you won't get the discount.
And if you miss this one, don't worry. I predict you'll see another half off Starbucks promo coming up on Friday, May 10, 2024 — and then every Friday through the entire month of May.
Starbucks Double and Triple Star Days
These Starbucks Double and Triple Star Days happen sporadically throughout the year. You earn double points on all your Starbucks purchases, helping you reach your free Starbucks goals more quickly.
I most recently saw a Triple Star Day on Tuesday, April 23. I believe you'll see a Double Star Weekend on May 4 - 5 and another Triple Star Day on Wednesday, May 8.
Starbucks BOGO Events
Every once in a while, you’ll see an offer in your Starbucks app for Starbucks BOGO drinks. This offer most often runs on Thursdays or weekends and with any purchase of a handcrafted beverage, you get another on the house from noon - 6 p.m.
I'm predicting a Starbucks BOGO deal next Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Starbucks Bonus Star Challenges
Starbucks also releases a sets of tasks to complete with a prize of free bonus Stars. Each account gets a different set of tasks, usually netting you 50 – 75 bonus Stars upon completion.
Ways to Earn Bonus Stars

Birthday Rewards
Make sure to enter your birthday when you sign up for Starbucks Rewards. The Starbucks birthday drink reward is a free handcrafted drink (reg. $5.95), bottled beverage (reg. $4.95), or food item (reg. $7.25) on your birthday. It’s one of the best Starbucks Rewards perks.
Starbucks Rewards
Most all Starbucks offers are for Starbucks Rewards members who have an active account in the Starbucks app. But what does being a member of the Starbucks Rewards Program actually get you? Unfortunately, not as much as it used to. In February 2023, the coffee chain updated its rewards program requiring more Stars for certain purchases. Coffee — which was a 50 Star item — became worth 100 Stars. That being said, this is still a very worthwhile loyalty program if you are a Starbucks fan.
You earn two Stars for every $1 spent when you add a Starbucks gift card to your Rewards account and use it to pay. Or get one Star for every $1 spent when you pay with cash or credit, using the “Scan Only” feature in the app.

Does Starbucks still do $3 Thursdays?
I have not seen a Starbucks $3 Thursday since Thursday, Jan. 25. There have been no announcements for another $3 Thursday in the immediate future.
When can I get free Starbucks?
You’ll get Starbucks free coffee when you hit 100 Stars in the Starbucks Rewards app. Or hit 200 Stars to earn a free Starbucks handcrafted beverage.
Starbucks BOGO free events are also a prime time to score a free drink. They typically happen on Thursdays or weekends from noon - 6 p.m.
Does Starbucks offer discounts?
Yes. I frequently see discounts offered for rewards members in the Starbucks app. The offers are usually personalized and customers who visit Starbucks less frequently tend to get the better offers (as a strategy to get you back in the store).
I’ve recently seen offers for 40% off your purchase, $2 - $4 off your order, and grande drinks for $4.
