Dear 2021 grads — your high school or college graduation this year may look a little different from what you imagined, but it’s still a time to celebrate! You deserve some recognition this year, and these restaurants and retailers want to honor you with free food and product freebies.

Congratulations and stay tuned for more free stuff and savings by downloading the free Krazy Coupon Lady app.

1. Free dozen Krispy Kreme donuts

On Thursday, May 13, Krispy Kreme is giving away a box of their limited edition 2021 Graduate Dozen — including Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled, Strawberry Iced Kreme Filled, Cake Batter Filled, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles, and Yellow Iced, and Original Glazed® doughnuts.

You’ve just gotta bring in proof of graduating in 2021 — like a cap/gown, Class of 2021 shirt, class ring, graduation announcement or senior student ID. It’s a one-day deal, but if you miss it, you can still buy the special donuts for $15.99 each.

2. Free Pizza Hut medium one-topping pizza

In 2020, Pizza Hut gave away 500,000 pizzas to Hut Rewards members in honor of 2020 graduates now through May 28 — no purchase necessary! We’ll be watching at the end of May to see if they do it again. Log in or create a new Pizza Hut Rewards member account to claim yours.

3. Free Jimmy John’s sub sandwich

We’re waiting on this year’s offer, but in 2020, Jimmy John’s shared an Instagram story promoting 2,020 free sandwiches to 2020 graduates who direct message them the code “LittleJohns” on May 21. The first 2,020 grads to message Jimmy John’s on Instagram received a promo code for a free sub through May 24. So stay tuned to JJ’s Instagram.

4. Free Ruth’s Chris filet mignon

For most of May and June last year, grads received a free filet mignon steak (worth up to $50 depending on market costs) from Ruth’s Chris with the purchase of any two entrees.

5. Free Office 365 Education software

Students and teachers from eligible schools can sign up to receive Office 365 Education for free. The software includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Microsoft Team — valued at around $70 per year. A valid school email address required for this freebie.

6. Free Chipotle entree and chance to win a $25,000 scholarship

In 2020, the first 5,000 people who purchased a graduation-themed gift card between May 21 – June 30 got a coupon code for a BOGO free Chipotle entree. Expect a similar offering in 2021.

7. Free Celebration Dipped Fruit Delights Edible Arrangements bouquet

Edible Arrangements gave away 2,020 chocolate-dipped fruit bouquets (worth at least $107!) to graduates who posted a video on social media using the hashtag #EdibleMoments last year. Videos had to include the graduate’s name and explain how they’re celebrating.

8. Free Amazon Prime Student membership for six months

Get access to thousands of free TV shows and movies, ad-free music, Prime-exclusive deals, free delivery, and more with a free trial of Amazon Prime Student. Once your six-month trial ends, the monthly fee is just $6.49.

9. Free professional societies memberships for engineers and planners

Students can join professional societies for free like the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Planning Association, and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

These are awesome for students, because they offer great networking opportunities, mentors, and more education about your field.

10. Free student discounts from H&M, Best Buy, Apple, and more

Many retailers offer discounts specifically for college students. (If only I’d had these when I was in college!)
