Now that your Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping adventures are in the books, it’s time to think about the real reason for the season — kindness. To celebrate and encourage generosity, the nonprofit organization GivingTuesday asks people around the world to do good. This year on Nov. 28, GivingTuesday celebrates 11 years of generosity and we hope you can take some time today to give back.
We’ve put together a long list of retailers giving back on Giving Tuesday. Plus, you can find some tips on how you can participate this year below.

What is Giving Tuesday?
According to GivingTuesday.org, Giving Tuesday is a ” global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity.” It’s a day that encourages giving time, support, money, or even a smile to help create a better world.
In addition to donating your time toward charitable organizations, you can shop online or in-store at some of your favorite retailers who participate in the global effort of Giving Tuesday. Some retailers match dollar donations, others donate a percentage of sale proceeds to select charities. Here’s a list of the participating retailers you can shop today to give back this Giving Tuesday!

- Today, November 28, DoorDash is offering up a $6 off your purchase of $25 or more when you use promo code 6MAN. In addition, DoorDash will donate $6 for every purchase to No Kid Hungry (up to $50,000).
- Today, November 28, T-Mobile is donating $1 (up to $200,000) which offers up 10 Meals to Feeding America when you log into your T-Mobile Tuesday app and opt in. In addition, you can score other freebies including a Free Jack’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich, $2 Off Any Drink, $5 Off Large Popcorn at AMC Theatres, and more.
- Milo’s Tea have teamed up with Feeding America to donate a free meal to those in need with every Milo’s product purchase and Share the Joy Cookbook download (free to download here).
Places matching donations on Giving Tuesday.
- Westfield is offering to match all donations made to the Red Cross on November 28 — dollar for dollar (up to $75,000).
- Save The Children is matching 5 times the donation amount on Giving Tuesday, thanks to a group of anonymous donors –that means every $1 donated becomes $5.
- Worthington & Margaret Mayo-Smith will be matching all donations made to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) on November 28 (up to $250,000).
- Generous donors will be matching all donations made to the International Rescue Committee now through December 6 or until the $1,500,000 cap is reached.
- A generous donor will match your donation to the Humane Society of the United States up to $150,000 on November 28.
- All donations to Partnership for a Healthier America, will be doubled on Giving Tuesday, November 28.

- Maurices will give 4% cash back for customers to donate to their favorite charities.
- Rue21 will give customers the chance to earn 12% cash back to donate to their preferred nonprofit.
- Amazon has announced collaborations with the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity to celebrate Prime Video’s upcoming holiday comedy, “Candy Cane Lane,” featuring an all-star cast, including Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross. Various nonprofit organizations are also setting up Giving Tuesday Amazon wishlists for supplies.
- Jared is offering 20% off of engagement rings and wedding bands. Plus, Jared supports Jewelers for Children, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Diamond Empowerment Fund.
- Michael Kors is offering 100% of every sale of the Michael Kors Love T-shirt to go toward providing school meals.
- Lilly Pulitzer customers will have a chance to earn 3% cash back to donate to their preferred nonprofit. Lilly Pulitzer partnered with the Women’s Tennis Association this year as part of its “Be The Sunshine” campaign. The brand will launch with a $50,000 donation to WTA’s philanthropic arm, WTA Charities.
- Marrow Fine is offering 15% of all proceeds from the Always Collection to go toward the Ronald McDonald House charitable organization.
- Foot Locker will give 6% cash back for customers to donate to their preferred charities.
- Zales customers can also earn 4% cash back on Giving Tuesday to give to a preferred charity.
- Vanity Planet will offer 8% cash back on purchases for customers to give to charity. Plus, you can also get 50% off on their website.
- Red Robin when you order a Make-A-Wish Red Robin digital gift card they will be donating 10% to Make-A-Wish to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses starting Nov. 28 through Dec. 3.
- Williams Sonoma will donate 50% of every purchase price from their exclusive collection to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

- Collect non-perishable food and deliver it to a local food pantry.
- Volunteer with a local organization.
- Donate your unused gift cards to a shelter.
- Collect new toys and donate them to a local hospital.
- Give blood.
