With spring sports and end-of-school year events in full swing, I’m busier than ever. So in an effort to save time, I’ve been cutting down on my in-store visits. I buy Starbucks® products like Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate and Vanilla Latte Coffee Creamer at my local grocery store, then make my favorite drinks at home.

It’s the perfect time for you to do the same. Why? Because now through March 31 you can get a $5 digital Starbucks® card when you purchase any three qualifying Starbucks® products at nationwide retailers, including Kroger, Target, and Walmart. I'm diving in with all the details on how exactly to score this digital Starbucks® card. Plus, I'm also sharing how much money (and time) you can save by making your favorite Starbucks® drinks at home.

1. Buy three or more eligible Starbucks® products in the same transaction at qualifying retailers and get a $5 digital Starbucks® card through March 31.

Here's how to get your $5 digital Starbucks® card:

  • Purchase three or more qualifying Starbucks® products in the same transaction and save your receipt.

    • Starbucks® Coffee (Roast and Ground), K-Cups®, Cold Brew Coffee Concentrates and Coffee Creamers are all fair game. However, Starbucks®-branded ready to drink products are excluded from this promotion.

  • Visit https://athome.starbucks.com/one-cup-promotion and submit an image of the receipt(s) by April 30, 2024.

  • Your receipt will be processed in about 48 hours after which you'll receive your digital Starbucks® card via email. The $5 digital Starbucks® card can be used at any Starbucks® location, and will be active for three years before expiring.

2. New limited-edition Brown Sugar Cinnamon K-Cup® Pods are also included in the $5 digital Starbucks® card offer.

I love Starbucks®' Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso, which has cinnamon powder in it. That said, I'm excited to try their new limited-edition Brown Sugar Cinnamon K-Cup® Pods at home. A 22-ct box costs $15.98 at Walmart. That breaks down to just $0.73 per cup. The Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate and Roast & Ground Coffee come in this flavor, too, so I plan on experimenting with iced and hot versions of my favorite Brown Sugar Starbucks® beverages.

3. Starbucks® Cold Brew Coffee Concentrates, Creamers, K-Cups®, and Ground and Roast coffees all have nice, long shelf lives.

K-Cups® and Ground and Roast coffees technically do not expire, but coffee experts say that the flavor is best if they're used within a year of purchase. Starbucks® Cold Brew Concentrates and Creamers will last several months. Just note that after you open or unseal them, they need to stay refrigerated and be used within two weeks.
