Walmart just unveiled a new NextDay delivery program — and it’s 100% free!
The offer will include over 220,000 of the most frequently purchased items to start — including diapers, toys, electronics, and basic household supplies. The specific assortment will vary by location.
You have to spend $35 to get your free NextDay delivery.
Don’t worry, we’ll keep you up to date on all the best Walmart weekly deals so you can get the best bang for your buck.
NextDay shipping will be available in 75% of the U.S. by the end of the year.
Unless you live in Phoenix or Las Vegas, this offer won’t immediately be available. Walmart also plans to expand to Southern California in the coming days.
They hope to offer NextDay delivery to 40 of the top 50 metropolitan areas by the end of 2019.
Look to pay the same prices you would for Walmart grocery pickup.
You won’t be paying more for your diaper stock-up or last-minute laundry purchase, but you won’t get any special deals either — at least not yet.
If you do decide to shop in store, we have 12 facts (and myths) about Walmart price tags to help you save big.
Everything in your cart has to qualify for NextDay delivery.
Here’s how it’s going to work:
- Visit Walmart.com and toggle (or search for) NextDay delivery.
- Enter your zip code to find out if the service is offered in your area.
- Add $35.00 worth of qualifying items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
- Cutoff times will vary by location.
Walmart promises that because of strategic warehouse locations this service will cost them less, not more, and they’re passing the savings on to us. Hey! We’ll take it!
Don’t forget that it’s happening: Amazon is giving all Prime members free one-day shipping, too. You’ll have to pay the $119.00 a year membership fee, though, so if you’re not on the Amazon train then Walmart NextDay delivery might be your new favorite.
