To celebrate their 60th birthday, convenience chain Wawa is giving away free any-size coffee to all of their customers. If you live near one of the 1,000 locations — in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, and Washington, D.C. — you can grab your free Wawa coffee today, April 16.

Today also happens to be Wawa Day — a holiday introduced in 2014 to celebrate 50 years of being in service. And for the past 10 years, Wawa has celebrated in mid-April by thanking customers with a hot cup of coffee.

How To Get Your Wawa Free Coffee Today

Every year for Wawa Day, you’ll get a free cup of coffee from the convenience store when you visit their locations in person. The coffee is self-serve and to get the best value, get their largest cup — 24 ounces, regularly $2.59 — for free. 

This coffee freebie is limited to one cup per person and you can’t substitute the coffee with any other beverage. But, they will have other items such as teas, juices, lemonade, and a special birthday cake donut available for 60 cents.

Bonus: you don’t need to be a member of the Wawa Rewards program to celebrate this occasion.

Wawa Day Brighteners

If you’re a regular at your local Wawa location, you may also be honored by Wawa employees. Staff at all Wawa stores are encouraged to honor their “Day Brighteners” — customers who are valued by the store team for their positivity — with a sash, much, and other small gifts to show their appreciation.
