If you’re a fan of ice cream floats, you know that pouring Dr Pepper over a scoop of ice cream is a match made in heaven. Well, Blue Bell Creameries and Dr Pepper have teamed up to save us the hassle and just enjoy the two flavors in one (or multiple) scoops. Heck, just eat straight from the carton. Because, yep, these iconic brands created a new mouthwatering ice cream flavor called Dr Pepper Float.

Earlier this week, Blue Bell hinted at an upcoming mystery flavor on their social media channels. It hit stores on May 18, and you can find it at retailers in 23 states like Texas, Kentucky, Indiana, and Nevada. You can “scoop” up pint or half-gallon sizes to share the creamy goodness among friends (or keep it all to yourself — no judgement).

I don’t know why these brands wait to release such delicious products in the summer, but I’ll take it. Seriously though, this new product is a way to celebrate two Texas-based brands and bring a touch of nostalgia to consumers.

Anxious to know where to buy it? Here’s everything we know about the new Blue Bell Dr Pepper Float Ice Cream. For more product news, hacks, and money-saving tips, download The Krazy Coupon Lady app.

With pint and half-gallon sizes to choose from, you’ll have options when it comes to satisfying your cravings. From what we’ve learned these sizes will only be available through 2024. The flavor is described as a perfect marriage of luscious vanilla ice cream swirled with a Dr Pepper-infused sherbet.

As for price, at Walmart a Blue Bell ice cream pint costs $3.97, while the half-gallon price hovers around $8.

You can order Dr Pepper Float Ice Cream online for next-day UPS delivery, but it comes out to $35.50 per half gallon.

For those of us who sadly don’t live in one of the states with a Blue Bell Ice Cream retailer, there’s a solution (but it’ll cost ya). Blue Bell does offer orders for shipping anywhere in the U.S. You’ll have to call (979) 836-7977 to place your order and they only accept orders Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (CST). Additionally, they only ship orders of four Half Gallons for $142 (or you can order four 12-Pk Cups but the Dr Pepper Float flavor isn’t available in those).

Sticker shock, right? Now most of that $142 goes to the cost of UPS next-day delivery. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii will have higher shipping fees. Still, that means each half gallon of Blue Bell Dr Pepper Float Ice Cream delivered comes out to $35.50 each. So, how bad do you want it?
