The Bass Pro Easter Bunny will arrive on Saturday, March 21, but he won't be there every day.

Bass Pro and Cabela's have officially announced the 2026 schedule for the Easter Bunny. The photo sessions start two weekends before Easter (Saturday and Sunday, March 21 - 22) and then pick back up March 28.

  • Saturday, March 21: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Sunday, March 22: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

  • Saturday, March 28: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Sunday, March 29: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

  • Monday, March 30 - Thursday April 2: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

  • Friday, April 3 - Saturday April 4: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

  • Easter Sunday, April 5: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

KCL TIP: Since Bass Pro Shops owns Cabela’s, you’ll also find the Easter Bunny at Cabela's. Use their website to find a location near you.

You don't need a reservation, but you can avoid a long wait by reserving a time in advance — reservations open March 14.

Just like with free Santa photos, the free Easter photos are always a big hit, which means big crowds, especially if you show up on a Saturday or Sunday. To cut down on your wait time, book an appointment in advance on the Bass Pro site or app, and try to visit on a weekday if you can, when crowds are lighter. Reservations open on March 14 (but remember that the free photo opportunity won't start until March 21).

Time slots open up a week in advance. You can only make one reservation per family, but your “family” can include up to eight people in a photo. Reservations for Bass Pro Easter Bunny photo sessions tend to fill up fast, but if you don’t get one, don’t worry. They'll accept walk-ins, and you can avoid long lines by showing up as soon as the sessions start.

KCL TIP: In our experience, the standby line moves pretty steadily. Without a reservation, plan for a 20- to 30-minute wait.

Get a free printed 4×6 photo with the Easter Bunny, plus a free toy bass (while supplies last)

Each family gets a free 4×6 printed photo to take home, and each child will receive a free toy bass while supplies last. Additional offerings and activities may vary from store to store. In years past, some stores offered in-store Easter egg hunts.

If you’ve been to a Bass Pro or Cabela’s before, you know the store itself has other fun things to see and do, like live fish feedings and mounted animals throughout the store. So even if you get stuck in line without a reservation — and your little ones get antsy — they can stay entertained while one of you holds your spot in line.

Additional photo prints or the digital file will cost you $15 – $20.

While each family gets a free 4×6 photo print to take home at the end of the visit, any additional prints or packages will cost extra. Here are the confirmed prices and offerings for 2026:

  • Digital Image: $15

  • Basket Package (one 5×7 print and four wallet-sized prints): $15

  • Jellybean Package (one 6×8, two 5×7 prints, two 4×6 prints, four wallet-sized prints, and a digital copy): $20

Bass Pro is pet-friendly, so you can bring your pup along for photos.

Bass Pro and Cabela’s are on our list of pet-friendly stores, and some locations even have free kennels so your pet can relax while you shop.

Both service animals and well-behaved pets can go inside, unless local laws prohibit it. So if your pooch or kitty wants to sit with the Easter Bunny too, feel free to bring them along.
