We love a good battle between retailers for the best deals. And in 2023, a new Lowe’s Super Savings event (aka Lowe’s Prime Day) took on Amazon Prime Day on Oct. 9, 2023.
Through Oct. 11, 2023, Lowe’s dropped deals for up to 75% off, with savings on appliances, smart home devices, lighting, and more. This was the first time we’ve seen a Prime Day competition sale from Lowe’s in October. To be honest, we didn’t expect to see stellar deals until Lowe’s Black Friday. So this event was a nice surprise.
Lowe’s October sale was online only, so remember — you had to spend at least $45 to qualify for free shipping. But you can leverage Lowe’s price match policy and freshen up on our top Lowe’s sale hacks before you shop, too. We haven’t confirmed whether Lowe’s will have another Super Savings event during the next Prime Day sale, but here’s everything you need to know about the October 2023 Prime Day competition event.

Lowe’s took on Fall Prime Day with a Super Savings event from Oct. 9 – 11, 2023.
The Lowe’s Super Savings event happened Monday, Oct. 9, through Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023. Right smack in the middle of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days (Oct. 10 – 11). Lowe’s took on Prime Day with their own deals on Alexa devices and other Amazon-owned brands like Blink security cameras.
This was an online-only Lowe’s sale that only ran for 72 hours. Here’s a brief look at the limited-time savings from this sale:
- Appliances — up to 75% off select items
- Decorative Lighting — up to 55% off select items
- Smart Home & Security — up to 50% off select items
- Home Accents & Furniture — up to 50% off select items
- Outdoor Power Equipment — up to 35% off select items
The biggest savings were on select Lowe’s appliances — up to 75% off.
We hadn’t seen Lowe’s appliances get discounts like these in a long time. Not even for Lowe’s Presidents Day or Memorial Day Sale.
Select Ancona and Cosmo appliances had the deepest discounts for the Super Savings event. Most deals ranged from 40% – 60% off, but we spotted an Ancona range hood for a whopping 81% off the regular price. Also, most deals were valid for much longer than the sale, through Oct. 31 or Dec. 31.

Lowe’s even dropped prices by up to 56% on Amazon-owned devices.
It’s pretty hard to compete with Amazon for the best Amazon device deals. But in October 2023, Lowe’s did just that for Lowe’s Prime Day.
They dropped deep discounts on select Alexa devices like the Echo Dot, offering more than 50% off. These prices were right up there with Amazon’s for Prime Day.
Other Amazon devices like Blink security cameras also got discounts for the limited-time Lowe’s Prime Day sale.

Look for decorative lighting deals to score up to 55% off.
These decorative lighting discounts were hard to pass up. Lowe’s had a bunch of indoor and outdoor decorative lighting on sale for less than half the price. Prices started at just $35 for an outdoor wall sconce — that’s 50% off!
