If the thought of grocery shopping exhausts you and makes you crave an ice-cold beer, you may be in luck at stores with sip and shop. All around the country, select grocery stores have started offering beer and wine to their shoppers. Some even include cupholders on their shopping carts to make it easy! Unfortunately, not every grocery store offers this service, but with a little digging, we found some hidden within the grocery stores we already know and love.

Some of these sip-and-shop grocery stores offer just a quick pop-in, while others include full-service bars. Keep an eye out in your mailbox for special coupons advertising these locations when they first open. Here are all the stores that encourage you to sip and shop!

2. Whole Foods has a hangout with beer and wine.

Select Whole Foods locations offer beer and wine to shoppers. Your location will determine what bar and service they provide.

The SoCap Wine Bar has 16 wines and 12 craft beers on tap that dispense 1-ounce, 3-ounce, and 6-ounce amounts through a self-service machine. In addition, there are bar hangouts within Whole Foods that serve beer and wine. Each location has their own unique bar name like Bar Lamar, Bar 19, and The Draft Shack.

The majority of Whole Foods Markets have a WFM Coffee Bar and Genji Sushi. To see what added eateries and bars your Whole Foods has, you can check it out by searching your location on Whole Food’s website.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat or a drink, Albertsons offers a full in-store bar that provides food, beer, and wine. It’s like having a bar right in your grocery store. You can enjoy a full bar of beers on tap and in bottles, wine, distilled spirits, and cocktails. Locations have TVs, which makes it a great place to hang out even if you’re not grocery shopping.

4. Select Publix Greenwise Markets have a Pours bar.

If you’re one of the lucky ones to have a Publix Greenwise Market in your area, it might also have a Pours bar. This is a full-service sit-down bar that serves beer, wine, freshly brewed coffee, kombucha on tap, and freshly made acai bowls and smoothies. The Pours location near me even has TVs — it’s like a sports bar in Publix! Don’t feel like sitting? The carts have cupholders, too, so you can drink while you shop.

There are only six locations that have Pours. You can check out all the locations here.

In 2015, Target Corporate announced they were opening their first in-store bar in Chicago. So far the only locations we could find that offer wine, beer, and spirits while you shop were in Chicago.

If your location doesn’t have a bar in Target, you can always order your adult beverages through Target Drive Up. Just make sure you have your ID handy.

6. Giant Food includes cupholders on their cart to sip and shop.

Giant Food makes shopping while you sip super easy with cupholders built right into their carts. The beer and wine service is called the “Consumption Bar.” Check to see if your Giant Food location has a Consumption Bar under the store services section.
