Target was open on Memorial Day 2023 during regular business hours, but those times can vary by store. So you may want to call your local store to be certain. But, remember that all the Memorial Day sales are also available online for extra shopping convenience.
The best Target Memorial Day deals are usually on bedding, furniture, outdoor accessories, and toys.
Target generally uses their Memorial Day sale in May to kick off summer savings, so you can expect plenty of on-theme home items on sale. Last year, we saw lots of discounts on indoor and outdoor furniture, decor, grills, fire pits, and more — with savings of up to 50% off.
But the home discounts go beyond just the big-ticket items. Expect some hefty discounts on bedding (like comforters and duvet sets), bath towels, curtains, and dinnerware sets, too.
Toys are also typically a big category for Target’s Memorial Day sale. While most toy deals lingered around 40% – 50% off, we’ve found a few for up to 70% off before. Look for savings on toys from Nerf, Little Tikes, VTech, LOL Surprise, and more.
Keep an eye out for stackable Target Gift Card offers during the sale.
Target regularly throws out free Target gift cards when you spend a certain amount on purchases in a particular category, like diapers or laundry detergent. Keep an eye out for Target Circle offers for the same products that you can stack with the gift card promo,
For Memorial Day 2023, Target offered a $5 gift card deal on $25 sun care purchases. There were also Target Circle offers for $2 off Neutrogena sunscreen, $2 off Coppertone, and $2 off Banana Boat/
With all of these deals combined, you could buy two bottles of Banana Boat sunscreen and one bottle of Coppertone sunscreen for just $7.76. This would normally cost $25.96. A 70% discount on sunscreen ain’t too shabby.
