Do you need an honest Fabletics Review to help you decide whether or not you should sign up for a VIP Membership? Maybe you’re just wondering: how does Fabletics work?

If so, you’re in the right spot.

We decided to try out the leggings and tops for ourselves because we had all the questions too. Now we can tell you all about the process and what to expect.

We’ll get right to the Fabletics review, but stick around at the end for a little Q&A if you want to know how it works, how to sign up, etc.

Our Fabletics Review: Is Fabletics worth it?

We paid for our own Fabletics outfits, so these opinions are our own. Overall, we think the styles rival some of the stuff we find at Lululemon, but the quality isn’t quite as high.

Fabletics quality is more like Gap Body, but the prices are closer to what you’d find at Target, so the value here is very good. Also, Fabletics merch comes in a wide variety of sizes to fit all body shapes!

While this is great news, we noticed that unfortunately, sizes tend to sell out fast. So if you know you’ll be placing an order, do it on the first day of the month so you can get the best size selection. You’ll see that pretty much everything we bought is already sold out, but don’t worry — it can come back in stock.

We tried on and walked around in (some of us walked a mile!) two shirts, a sports bra, and two pairs of leggings. So, without further ado, here’s our complete Fabletics review:

The Jamie Muscle Tank (not pictured and sold out now) is super cute, but only if you tie it up. Otherwise it just looks baggy and not flattering at all. Since it runs large, it should be easy to tie it up. Also, it is crazy soft! Keep in mind, though, that it’s a muscle tank, so the armholes are really low. You’d probably need to wear a full-coverage sports bra to be comfortable. All in all we’d give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

We give the Mila Medium Impact Sports Bra a 3.5 out of 5 stars because it’s not quite true to size. Compared to a Victoria’s Secret sports bra, this one felt a bit too tight around the ribs. But overall, the bra gives good support, and the fabric didn’t irritate our skin while exercising.

The Mila High-Waisted Pocket Capri (sold out, too but check out similar products) fits well, runs true-to-size, and is quite thick. We like the high waist and the placement of the phone pocket on the side of the leg. But the width of the pocket size was a little too small if you have a larger phone. The pocket does fit a smaller phone and a set of keys because it’s quite deep. The capris get 4.5 out of 5 stars.

The Cashel Cropped Swing Tank (also sold out, sheesh) gets 3.5 out of 5 stars. We love the material — it’s soft and very breathable and the tank is loose-fitting, so you could easily do an intense workout in it without overheating. But you need high-waisted pants in order to cover your stomach. And since the shirt is loose, it’s also a bit wide, so you might need to tie it in a knot off to the side for a better fit.

We like the Trinity High-Waisted Pocket Leggings (full length sold out, but try the capri) the best of the two pairs of leggings we tried. They’re soft, thick, and include that awesome high-waist coverage. There are a few pockets, and the one for a phone is large enough to fit an iPhone 7+ (unlike the capris, the only drawback). The phone pocket is right at the small of your back, and half of us like this feature while half of us felt it was a spot that gets too sweaty for a phone. Overall we are obsessed, so the leggings get a 5 out of 5 stars. You can wait for these to come back into stock, or if the iPhone pocket isn’t a dealbreaker, get the capris.

Here’s our Fabletics Review verdict

In the end, we think that the Fabletics introductory offer is a screaming bargain! In fact, anytime you can get prices around 50% off (like during Black Friday), jump on it. As far as continuing with Fabletics and paying $49.95 per month for additional outfits, we’re not as certain.

It’s not that $49.95 per month is an unfair price! The value is still really good — it’s just a matter of whether you have the budget to prioritize a new workout outfit every month and if you’ll remember to skip or cancel. We hope this Fabletics review sheds enough light for you to make a decision either way!

Fabletics FAQ

What is Fabletics, anyway?

Fabletics is a subscription retailer that’s co-owned by celebrity actress Kate Hudson. You can find women’s workout and athleisure clothing, shoes, and accessories for sale.

In addition to subscribing to Fabletics to receive regular shipments of merchandise, you can also shop 31 brick-and-mortar Fabletics retail stores in North America. If you live near one, you should definitely stop in to check out the quality of the clothing for yourself.

How does Fabletics work?

To get the most out of this, sign up for a Fabletics VIP Membership for discounts and other perks listed below. Sure, you can always hop on the website and start buying, but you won’t save the most money that way.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Take a short Fabletics Lifestyle Quiz to help Fabletics figure out what styles to send you.
  2. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll get the introductory offer which is typically either an entire outfit for $25 or two pairs of leggings for $24.
  3. Each month, you’ll receive new outfit recommendations based on your style and workout preferences.
  4. On the first day of each month, Fabletics will send you options for new handpicked outfits.
  5. Log in to your Fabletics.com account between the 1st and the 5th of the month to make your selection or “skip this month.”
  6. All outfits start at $49.95 USD — which is 50% off the listed price — and include free shipping. This means you get one outfit per month for this price.

Bonus! You can also choose to use your VIP points and credits at a Fabletics retail store. You’ll get the exact same price — 50% off one outfit per month — and then you don’t have to wait for shipping!

Is there a Fabletics Black Friday deal I should know about?

Yep — brand new Fabletics VIP Members typically get 70% off sitewide during Black Friday. This is even better than the typical introductory offer of 50% off.

What happens when I skip a month?

Your credit card won’t be charged and you won’t be shipped any new items for that month. This is a great option if you want Fabletics VIP membership pricing but you don’t need new apparel every single month.

Remember, you MUST skip or cancel between the 1st and 5th of the month, or your card will be charged $49.95, which will show up as a credit on your account to spend during the next month.

As long as you skip in time, you’ll avoid this charge.

TIP: Set a reminder on your phone to skip or cancel before you get charged every month.

Important: How to cancel Fabletics.

Fabletics will continue to debit $49.95 from your account on the 6th of every month unless you skip by the 5th or cancel your membership. You cannot cancel Fabletics online.

Regardless of what you think of our Fabletics review below, please keep this part in mind.

If you’re not a person who likes to deal with calling customer service, then this deal might not be for you, no matter how good you think it is.

To cancel, call Fabletics customer service at 1-844-FABLETICS (1-844-322-5384). Get your game face on before you call, because when you try to cancel, Fabletics will do their very best to keep you. So you’ll need to be polite, but persistent.
