Another good place to get New York theater ticket is the TKTS booth in Times Square. If you’re already in New York and want to try to see a show, stop by this booth at Broadway and 47th Street. This popular resource offers same day theater tickets at up to 50 percent off of the box office price. Not all shows are offered. The booth is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
There are 40 professional theaters seating 500 or more patrons in New York’s theater district, making it the second largest such district in the English-speaking world behind London’s West End. In 2010, more than 12 million people attended a Broadway theater performance.
Anyone headed to NYC this fall!?
