Your Prime membership is your ticket to see the Wizard ... before anyone else. Amazon is offering exclusive (for Prime members only) early screenings of Wicked in select theaters on Nov. 18. Everyone else has to wait until Nov. 22. Given how pop-u-lar, this movie is going to be, this is a chance for Prime members to jump the line.

Want to see Wicked four days before everyone else? Here's how to get those early tickets from Amazon.

Get Your Tickets

See Wicked in the theater on Nov. 18, four days earlier than everyone else.

Amazon Prime gets you access to the early screening on Nov. 18, but it doesn't guarantee you tickets. Plus, some cities may not have theaters doing the early screening.

You need to book your tickets for about $20 per person in advance (seats may sell out).

Here's how to check if a theater near you is offering an early screening and how to get tickets if one is:

  1. Sign in to your Amazon Prime account.

  2. Head to this page.

  3. Scroll down to "Prime Early Screening" and hit "Buy Prime Early" tickets. You'll need to opt in to let Fandango (which Amazon is partnering with to sell these tickets) see your location and access your Prime account.

  4. You'll see theaters near you offering the early Wicked screening.

  5. Select the theater you want to go to for the Nov. 18 early screening, add your tickets to your cart and check out.

Price depends on location, but expect to pay about $20 for adult tickets.

Tickets are available only while supplies last and went on sale on Oct. 31, so be sure to grab some before they sell out near you. All screenings are at 7 p.m. local time.

KCL TIP: If you're celebrating the Wicked movie release with the Starbucks Elphaba and Glinda drinks, here's how to get them for free with Stars.

Wicked tickets aren't free, but your Prime membership can get you movie freebies for other films.

You'll pay $20 each for tickets to early screenings of Wicked. But did you know your Prime membership offers movie freebies from time to time? Amazon gives its Prime members access to its Prime Premier program, and benefits include the following:

  • Free tickets to members-only advance screenings of Amazon movies and series. Go here to see if any screenings are coming up.

  • Free small popcorn and a small drink at the screening.

  • A free ticket (and small popcorn and small drink) for a guest.

Again, these perks don't apply to the early Wicked screenings. But they're a fun, little-known Amazon Prime freebie that you might want to use for other movies.
