What I'm Actually Making This Season
Now that I've got a way to get both Hellmann’s/Best Foods flavors for less, here's my game plan:
For Mother's Day Brunch: I'm going for Dijo-Mayo deviled eggs. It's got the classic flavor profile of the deviled eggs Mom has been eating for years. I'll also be using Eggland's Best hard-cooked peeled eggs (because I'm not peeling two dozen eggs the morning of Mother's Day), along with chives from my garden and a pinch of salt and paprika. Done.
For Graduation Parties and Summer Cookouts: Japanese Inspired Mayo is going to be my surprise move for party guests. It's got a tangy umami flavor profile that's unexpected when it comes to deviled eggs, but totally works. And it'll pair nicely with a little sriracha and furikake. Plus, if someone else brings more traditional deviled eggs, this will give people another option.
