If you’re unable to locate these seasonal nuts, why not make your own pumpkin spice and roast almonds yourself? Spread an even layer of almonds on a cookie sheet and brush them with either a beaten egg white or melted butter.

Sprinkle or coat (as desired) almonds with your homemade pumpkin spice, and roast at 350 degrees (stir once) for about 10 – 12 mins. Let cool and enjoy. Allow the almonds to completely cool before storing them in an airtight container.

They’re entirely too expensive now on resell sites like eBay, but if you’re dead-set on getting that autumnal scent as you’re throwing away your Pumpkin Spice Latte or your pumpkin spice doughnut, you have options.

Hefty Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice trash bags were $5.95 for a 20-count at Hefty.com, but now they’re selling for no lower than $59.99 per box on eBay.
