Have you ever been a bit heavy-handed with the salt while cooking a soup or stew? Not to fret! You can soak up the excess salt and save that soup with apples. To remove the saltiness, simply throw a few wedges of apples into the pot and allow them to stew for 10–15 minutes or until the saltiness is decreased to your liking.
