Thanks to Instagram influencers, the Stanley Adventure Quencher Tumbler has gone TikTok viral, sparking Facebook groups of collectors and resellers. The tumbler with a handle and straw is so in demand that, depending on the color, it’s nearly impossible to find. And when a retailer does restock a specific coveted color, you best be quick. They usually sell out within hours. Even my local Dick’s Sporting Goods‘ store manager told me that if one Stanley is on the shelf, it’s gone by the end of the day.
Right now, on Stanley1913.com, you can get 20% off with code BRAND20. Unfortunately, Quenchers are excluded from this discount. Whomp, whomp.
New releases are highly anticipated, like when Target unveiled eight new colors of the 40-ounce H2.0 Quencher Tumbler, which hit stores and Target.com on March 12. Target.com fully stocked those hues at 4 a.m. ET, but by midday, half the colors were sold out. Seriously, keeping up with who has Stanley in stock and who doesn’t is a full-time job. Thankfully, there are other stores that have the tumblers available right now, like Scheels and REI. We’ll give you the whole rundown below!
Target Stanley News: March 2023

When eight new Stanley colors dropped at Target in March, tumbler hysteria ensued. The limited edition and prints of Target’s 40-ounce H2.0 Quencher Tumbler are Wisteria, Ocean Tie Dye, Citron, Citron Tie Dye, Wisteria Tie Dye, Peach, Peach Tie Dye, and Brilliant White. Even if you see these are unavailable for shipping, check daily to see what color may be available for you locally as a store pickup.
As we follow the trends, it seems like eight is the magic number when it comes to Target and Stanley. Last December they released the 40-ounce tumbler in Champagne Ombre, Frost Pearlescent, Midnight Pearlescent, Parfait Ombre, Parfait Pearlescent, Spearmint Pearlescent, Spearmint/Parfait Ombre, and Terrazzo Pearlescent. Those have since come and gone, replaced by these springtime hues.
Pro Tip: Use the DCPI for a specific Stanley tumbler to ask a Target team member if it’s in stock.
Wondering the best way to ask a Target Team Member if the Stanley tumblers are in stock at your store? We advise you to politely ask an employee if they may look up an item to see if it’s available in-store. Here are the DCPI numbers for each Target tumbler for quick reference:
- Citron tie dye: 200-00-25-42
- Wisteria tie dye: 200-00-5090
- Brilliant white: 200-00-7639
- Peach: 200-00-5093
- Wisteria: 200-00-0014
- Ocean tie dye: 200-00-1829
- Peach tie dye: 200-00-5528
In our experience, you’ll have a better chance of a team member telling you if the item is in stock by using the item number.

There’s a new Stanley kid on the block, and it’s Scheels, a private, employee-owned and operated sporting goods and entertainment chain store. The 30-ounce tumblers at Williams-Sonoma come in coal (abalone and nectar are sold out). Williams-Sonoma used to sell the 40-ounce tumbler, but it has been removed from their website.
It’s so hard to say goodbye to beloved Stanley colors.
Sadly, Magnolia’s Stanley Quencher in copper and cream will not be restocked, like, ever. This is according to a recent company email. So don’t wait for another restock on that one. And Magnolia’s Coal tumbler also said adios.
