used candle wax 2
When I have leftover wax from household candles that haven't burned or wax from my electric warmer that's on its last bit of scent, I repurpose it as a no-fuss air freshener for my car. Simply find a small glass or hard plastic container that will fit in your car's cup holder. These items work well:

  • A glass votive holder
  • A baby food jar
  • A plastic single-serve fruit container (think Mott's applesauce or Dole cut fruit)

Then, add your wax block remnants or pieces of candle wax (and don't worry about mixing scents—berry and citrus or lavender and vanilla make great combos). When your car is parked or driving in the sun, the heat will help disperse the scent! Simply change it out when it fully loses its intensity.
