January Hobby Lobby Sales
The first month of the year is all about holiday clearance at Hobby Lobby.
Hobby Lobby Christmas Final Clearance
Sale Dates: Jan. 2 - 6 (end date varies by store)
Sale Highlights: 90% off Christmas garlands, stockings, holiday crafts, cards, wrapping paper, ornaments, and more
Hobby Lobby does offer clearance on holiday stuff in December, but generally at 60% - 70% off. The 90% off clearance hits right at the start of the year (Jan. 2 in 2026).
Hobby Lobby Valentine's Day Clearance
Sale Dates: Jan. 5 - Feb. 20 (dates may vary)
Sale Highlights: 40% off Valentine's Day cards, decor, and crafts
Hobby Lobby Valentine's Day items hit 40% off in-store starting the first week of January (right at the end of holiday clearance), holding steady right up until Feb. 14.
February Hobby Lobby Sales
Hobby Lobby Valentine's Day Clearance
Sale Dates: Feb. 14 - 25. Final 90% off clearance starts Feb. 21.
Sale Highlights: 40% - 90% off cards, decor, and crafts
You can get 90% off if you play the waiting game. Right after Valentine's Day, expect 40% - 60% off. About a week later, look for 75% off. And then, toward the end of the month (on Feb. 22 in 2025 and Feb. 27 in 2024), you can get 90% off what's left. We suggest you start looking for 90% off Valentine's Day on or around Feb. 21 in 2026.
March Hobby Lobby Sales
Hobby Lobby Easter Clearance
Sale Dates: March 1 - until Easter (date varies)
Sale Highlights: 40% off baskets, basket stuffers, decor, Easter grass, eggs, egg-decorating kits, and more
You can get 40% off in the run-up to Easter.
April Hobby Lobby Sales
Easter Final Clearance
Sale Dates: April 13 - 20 (end date may vary)
Sale Highlights: 90% off Easter items
You can get 90% off starting about a week after Easter. Easter is on April 5 in 2026, so expect to see 90% off about a week after. In 2024 (when Easter was March 31), we saw 90% off hit stores around April 8 - 10.
May and June Hobby Lobby Sales
Spring Shop Items
Sale Dates: May 15 - Aug. 23
Sale Highlights: 50% off spring crafts, spring garden decor, dinnerware, spring containers, and more
Hobby Lobby starts discounting The Spring Shop as early as Jan. 1 when items hit 40% off every week. As the spring and summer months continue, these discounts get even bigger and hit 50% off in mid-May.
July Hobby Lobby Sales
Summer Toys
Sale dates: July 1 - 17 and July 18 - 31
Sale highlights: 50% - 66% off outdoor toys and games, including Little Wishes
You'll save 50% on summer toys over the first half of July, and then the discount will go up to 66% off during the last half of the month.

The Spring Shop discounts really rev up in August, to 75% - 90% off. Look for 75% off the first half of the month, and then 90% off during the second half. . We saw 90% off the Spring Shop start on Aug. 18 in 2025.

Sale Highlights: 90% off outdoor toys and games, including Little Wishes
You'll save 75% on summer toys over the first half of August, and then the discount will go up to 90% off during the last half of the month.
Classroom Decor
Sale Dates: Aug. 24 - Sept. 1
Sale Highlights: 90% off classroom decor
As teachers and kids head back to school, Hobby Lobby drops prices on their classroom decor — a whopping 90% off. We usually find items like school-themed ribbon, foam welcome signs, cut-outs for paper garland, framed encouragement signs, and table decor.
September Hobby Lobby Sales
Wedding Products
Sale Dates: Every other week in September
Sale Highlights: 50% off wedding products
The regular Hobby Lobby sale schedule follows a pattern with select wedding items, giving them a 40% discount every other week. But in September, wedding discounts jump to 50% off every other week. During this time, ribbons, bows, tulle, invitations, and deco mesh in the Wedding, Floral, and Fabric departments are added to the wedding sale at 50% off.
Holiday Products
Sale Dates: Starts Sept. 1
Sale Highlights: 50% off holiday products
These are the first markdowns of the year on holiday products like decor, crafts, garlands, gift wrap, cards, ornaments, and more. If you want to shop in advance for the coming season, you can get 50% off (although discounts get much better at the last minute and after Christmas).

Expect 60% off right at the middle of the month and 70% off a few days after Christmas. In 2025, we saw 80% off right before the new year. And on Jan. 2 you'll find 90% off.
Recurring Hobby Lobby Sales: Check the Hobby Lobby Weekly Ad
Hobby Lobby releases a new weekly ad every Sunday (though stores are closed that day), and all the discounts in the ad are available to shop Monday through Saturday.
The first thing you gotta know is that while Hobby Lobby’s weekly ad is different each week, items in certain departments, like Home Decor and Crafts, are always on sale. But this doesn’t mean all items in those departments are discounted year-round. The on-sale items may change from week to week, but you can always expect sale prices from these departments.
Hobby Lobby Departments That Are Always on Sale

Custom Frames: Always 50% off (frame only, not framing services).

Bestselling Books: Always 40% - 50% off (Bibles, devotionals, gift books, children's books).

Paper Napkins and Plates: Consistently 50% off in the Hobby Lobby weekly ad, possibly more if they're part of seasonal or holiday clearance.

T-shirts: Expect 20% off the Wearable Art department, including youth and adult short-sleeve T-shirts, baseball and long-sleeve T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and infant and toddler T-shirts.

Hobby Lobby Departments That Are on Sale Every Other Week
If one of the following isn't on sale when you shop, just wait a week. You'll find it in the next weekly ad.

Home Decor: Always 50% off, but the sale switches between wall/textile decor and table decor each week. In the weekly ad, you’ll find a list of general decor items on sale one week and a list of table decor items the next. It’s almost always the same list of items that get marked down for each category. So if mirrors, pillows, and clocks aren’t on sale right now, you can count on them for next week.

Crafting supplies: Always 40% off, but the items listed change every other week. So if what you want (whether it's clay, paint-by-numbers sets, wood, glitter, or something else needed for crafting) isn't on sale, check back the following week.

Florals: On sale for 40% off every other week. Excludes seasonal florals, custom designs, or items labeled “floral accents.”

Party and Gift Wrap: 50% off every other week. This includes cake decorating, gift bags, and gift wrap.

Yarn and Fabric: Yarn and fabric by the yard go on sale every other week, but never at the same time. Their sale schedule switches between 30% off yarn (including all Artiste Floss & Threads) and 40% off fabric by the yard each week.

Cricut and Paper Crafts: Paper Crafts labeled The Paper Studio and The Happy Planner are 40% off every other week. In the weeks between, select Cricut machines are on sale for 30% - 40% off.

Sewing Ribbon, Trim, and Tulle: The Sewing department gets a 40% discount every other week. This includes ribbon, trim, and tulle spools, plus scissors and rotary cutters from Fiskars and Singer. The 40% discount excludes seasonal items and tulle sold by the yard.

Wall and Photo Frames: These are different from custom frames. Wall frames, photo frames, shadow boxes, collage frames, and display cases get a 50% discount every other week (excluding “Your Price” items).
Other Items That Are Often on Sale (But Irregularly)
These items don't follow an every-week or every-other-week schedule, but they're on sale often. So if they're not currently on sale, just wait.

Candles, Oils, and Room Sprays: On sale weekly or every other week for 40% off. However, keep an eye out in stores during Hobby Lobby's holiday clearance markdowns starting in December.

Beads and Jewelry Supplies: There are three categories that are most commonly on sale: Beads, items from the Jewelry Shoppe, and items from the Metal Gallery. They each go on sale for 50% off three out of four weeks. So they’ll be on sale for two weeks in a row, then skip a week, then go on sale for another two weeks.
