Have you ever tried eating vegetarian at a fast-food restaurant? It’s nearly impossible to get a full meal. Burger King is trying to change that as they roll out the Impossible Burger to all U.S. locations.

And if you want to find other Burger King or restaurant coupons, check out our dining deals page.

The Burger King Impossible Whopper will be available at over 7,000 locations starting August 8th.

For those that haven’t heard about them yet, the Impossible Burger is a plant-based burger made from soy-protein concentrate and potato protein. It’s a new vegetarian option becoming more and more popular as a meat alternative.

Earlier this year, Burger King started offering the Impossible Burger in a few test locations and after four months, have decided to bring it to all U.S. locations.

The Impossible Whopper costs $1.00 more than the original Whopper and has 30 fewer calories.

The suggested retail price for the Impossible Whopper is $5.59, while the original Whopper suggested retail price is $4.59 — prices vary by location. Healthwise, the Impossible Whopper is 630 calories, but the original Whopper isn’t much worse at 660 calories.

While Burger King is currently promoting the Impossible Whopper as a limited-time menu item, if it’s as popular as the trial run showed, it could stick around.

The president of Burger King, Chris Finazzo, said the menu items are chosen based on customer feedback and there’s no reason to believe the Impossible Whopper won’t be sticking around.

Get a fresher burger by customizing your order.

If you want to make sure you’re getting a fresher burger made, customize it a bit, even if that’s just adding pickles. They are more likely to make you a new one then to unwrap one they’ve had ready for a while.

You can also find the Impossible Burger at White Castle and select Cheesecake Factory locations.

Burger King isn’t the only one jumping on this trend. You can also find the Impossible Burger at:

  • White Castle
  • Select Cheesecake Factory locations
  • Applebee’s in New York City
  • Umami Burger
  • Bareburger
