1. Get money back on tech gadget gifts with Paribus.
If you’re looking for tech gadget gifts like Beats headphones or Apple devices, chances are good you’re shopping online. Paribus is your money-saving secret weapon.
Most retailers offer a price adjustment period (typically two weeks) after you make a purchase. During this time, if your item goes on sale, they’ll give you back the difference.
Paribus monitors your online purchases and alerts you when there’s a price drop on an item you bought, so you can request the difference.
It’s totally free.
In the meantime, find coupons and deals for these popular tech gadget gifts:
Paribus compensates us when you sign up for Paribus using the links we provided.
2. Buy trending gifts on Amazon.
Amazon should be your go-to for trending gifts, either because they’re cheaper than competitors’, or because they offer exclusives you can’t find anywhere else.

3. Use coupons and loyalty points at drugstores like CVS and Walgreens to buy stocking stuffers.
When you think outside the box a little bit, you can save loads of cash on stocking stuffers.
In 2018, at CVS, we saw NYX lip gloss marked down to a sale price of 2/$11.98, but there was an ExtraBucks promotion offering $10 back in ExtraBucks, making the lip gloss essentially $0.99 each!
Here are some great deals we’ve seen during Black Friday:
Free Orbit or Wrigley’s gum: $0.99 on sale, get $0.99 in ExtraBucks
Build-A-Bear, Xbox, Spotify or Uber Gift Cards: Buy one, get $15 back in ExtraBucks
Hershey’s holiday singles candy: $0.50 each on sale (reg. $1.19 each)
Conair or Scunci hair ties: $0.50 each on sale (reg. $2.99 each)
Disney, Marvel & Pokemon toys: 50% off
4. Look for the best deals on apparel gifts at Old Navy and Gap.
Old Navy and Gap offer an extra 50% off the lowest price on everything in the store during Black Friday.
Best part? You can shop online and you don’t need any coupons or anything!
We’ve seen 50-80% savings such as:
Old Navy: $1 cozy socks, $20 puffer jackets, $7.50 slippers, $4 graphic tees.
Gap: 80% off jeans, $10 kids sweatshirts and $8 women’s sleepwear.
5. Aim for 50% savings on toy gifts and 30% savings on gaming consoles.
Target is a great place to shop for toys because in addition to sale prices, starting Oct. 28, when you text TOY to 827438, you’ll get a 25% off coupon to use on a toy purchase.
At Target watch for up to 50% savings on Disney, LEGO, Barbie, Fisher-Price and NERF.
At Walmart during the holidays in 2018, we saw 33% off PS4 Slim and Xbox One S.
Kohl’s is another place to watch for gaming console deals — if you can earn or spend Kohl’s Cash on your gaming console purchase, you’ll probably beat Walmart’s prices.
6. Buy discounted gift card gifts at Costco.
Giving a gift card for a Christmas present is versatile and easy.
You can give movie ticket gift cards (like AMC, Regal, Cinemark), restaurant gift cards (like PF Chang’s, Macaroni Grill, Coldstone) or travel gift cards (like LEGOLAND or Universal Studios).
Gift cards bundles at Costco are discounted, meaning you’ll pay less than the face value of the card. For example, in one bundle you get two $50 Macaroni Grill gift cards for $74.99 — saving 25%!
When it comes to subscription gifts, there are so many options! Some of our favorites are FabFitFun and Home Chef.
FabFitFun offers about eight items ranging from sunglasses to blanket scarves to foot cream. It arrives once a quarter, and your first box costs around $30 (reg. $49.99 — it’s typically 50% off for first-time orders).
You can cancel after your first order or give your loved one a year’s subscription for $179.99.
HomeChef is a meal delivery kit subscription, and you can select a kit for two people or for a family.
The food arrives unprepared. The receiver chops and cooks the recipe ingredients according to the easy recipes.
You can usually find a deal for first-time orders on the Home Chef website to save money on a few meals, and you can cancel anytime.
Here’s what you can expect to spend:
3 Recipes per week for 2 people: $59.70
Shipping fee: Free on orders over $45
Total: $59.70 ($9.95 per plate)
Wondering if you should even bother with meal kit delivery services? We got you.
