HUM Nutrition is a wellness brand that specializes in nutritional supplements and vitamins, and they’re receiving a lot of attention of late because of their emphasis on personalized recommendations for customers. It involves taking an online survey so they can assess what works best for an individual. After that initial step, HUM sends out a monthly box of vitamins tailored to those needs. As you can probably guess this personalization and attention to detail ain’t exactly cheap. The monthly cost runs anywhere from $26 – $50.
To determine if HUM’s monthly vitamin subscription is worth your money, I tried it out myself. And I found a couple of ways to save on the brand (including saving up to 25% on each order).

1. First, make sure you’re getting your money’s worth by signing up for vitamins that support your personal health goals.
To find out which supplements are right for you, HUM makes each customer take a three-minute health quiz. The quiz is quick and asks for basic health information, like what kind of food you eat and your health goals.
Once you complete the quiz, HUM recommends three products (vitamins and/or supplements) that will support your body as well as your health goals. What’s nice is that you have flexibility over the vitamins in your box. If there’s something you don’t want, you can swap it out.
When you’re happy with your selection, you can order your personalized box. (Each bottle of vitamins comes with a 30-day supply.) From there, HUM will subscribe you to receive that same box each month.
Note: You can always edit your cart. However, if you do not, you will automatically be sent the same vitamins from your previous order.
2. HUM Nutrition costs vary but normally start around $26 a bottle.
The cost of HUM Nutrition’s personalized boxes depends on which vitamins you get. For example, the Red Carpet soft gels that support hair and skin health (which I got in my package) are $26. However, other vitamins like the Counter Cravings capsules are $50. At the end of the day, your cost will depend on which supplements you get. Keep in mind that to get free shipping, you need at least three bottles of vitamins in your cart.

3. First-time customers can get $10 off their first order with code HUM10.
There are a few ways to save money on HUM products. First, you can save 25% on all orders by signing up for a VIP subscription. However, if you’re a first-time customer, you can use the code HUM10 for $10 off your first order. Plus, HUM will give all new users 15% off, in addition to the $10 code. Also, keep an eye out for coupon codes throughout the year.
4. Save 5% when you shop for HUM Nutrition at Target or Sephora.
Luckily, you don’t only have to shop online to find HUM. And, you don’t have to subscribe. I found HUM Nutrition gummies at my local Target. They’d cost me $24.49 at my location, but since I have my Target RedCard, I could bring that price down to $23.27.
5. However, signing up for a subscription plan can actually save you 25% on each order.
When you shop directly from HUM Nutrition, you can choose from a Monthly or VIP subscription. With the Monthly plan, you’ll get your vitamins each month and have the option to modify your box. You can pause or cancel your order at any time.
With the VIP plan, you can do the same as with the Monthly. However, with this offer, you must commit to a minimum of three orders. If you commit to that, you’ll get 25% off every order. This plan is ideal for anyone who wants more than three months’ worth of vitamins. Saving 25% on your orders can really add up to nice savings. For example, it would bring my $26 bottle of Red Carpet supplements down to $19.50. Keep in mind that if you cancel an order before three months, your discount will be voided.
6. Canceling your HUM Nutrition subscription is pretty easy to do online.
You can cancel your HUM Nutrition subscription at any time without penalty. To cancel, follow these steps:
- Log into your account and tap on your profile.
- Go to where it says ‘Subscription.’
- Hit ‘Cancel Subscription.’
- If you have any problems, contact customer support. You can call them, opt for the Live Chat, or reach out to them on their website.
7. After several weeks of using HUM Nutrition vitamins, I think they actually helped clear my skin.
From what I’ve seen after taking HUM products for six weeks — they are effective and worth it. I received three different vitamins to help support my hair, skin, and nails. After a few weeks, I’ve noticed that my skin is clearer. (For the record, I got the Arctic Repair, Red Carpet, and Collagen Love vitamins.) I will note that I incorporate collagen powder into my diet every day, so that could also play a role. Overall, I think HUM is worth it for people who do not already take supplements.
