Starting this week you can pick up and drop off your FedEx packages at Walgreens.

Just in time for the holiday season, FedEx and Walgreens are teaming up to give customers more flexibility and options for mailing packages in 7,500 Walgreens stores across all 50 states.

Walgreens joined the FedEx Onsite program early in 2017, but with only a few stores participating. As of today, the list of Walgreens stores has expanded into your backyard.

Here’s how it works:

Drop off your package at a Walgreens participating in FedEx Onsite.

I’m betting you have more Walgreens stores in your vicinity than you do FedEx Kinko’s stores.

Just print your FedEx label and affix it to your package like you would normally do and then drop it off at Walgreens. Packages must be in good condition and weigh 55 lbs. or less.

Pick up your package at a Walgreens within five days.

Without a doubt, one of the best features of the pick-up-in-store option is that Walgreens holds your package in a secure location for up to five days.

No more stress about an expensive package arriving at your house and sitting on your doorstep for hours (or days!) before you get home.

Plus, if you want to change your package’s destination, you can do that too. Just select “Customize Delivery” and opt to redirect the shipment.

You can also pick up and drop off your FedEx packages at select Kroger and Albertsons stores. But Walgreens, being more national, is going to be an obvious choice for a lot of people.
