This food holiday isn't about ice cream — it's about the cones. On National Ice Cream Cone Day, there aren’t a lot of restaurants that participate, but the ones that do offer some good deals. Chick-fil-A, Dairy Queen, and Sarris Candies have participated by offering free and cheap ice cream cones.

Chick-fil-A: Participating locations gave a free Ice Dream Cone on Sept. 22, 2023.
On Sept. 22, 2023, Chick-fil-A Rewards members should have checked their nearest location to see if they were offering a free Ice Dream Cone (regularly $1.89) coupon. Because Chick-fil-A locations are franchised, not all of them offered this deal.

Dairy Queen: Small Blizzards were $0.85 on National Ice Cream Cone Day 2023.
Even though you couldn’t grab a Blizzard in an ice cream cone, Dairy Queen Rewards members could have treated themselves to a small Blizzard (reg. $5.19) for only $0.85 — a 83.6% discount. This offer was available until Sept. 24, which meant you could grab your discount on the cone holiday as well.

Sarris Candies: $1 off waffle cones on Sept. 22, 2023.
If you were lucky enough to live near a Sarris Candies location in 2023, you could have received a $1 discount on your ice cream cone purchases all day long on National Ice Cream Cone Day 2023. This offer was exclusively available in person.
