The next National Ice Cream Day will be on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
National Ice Cream Day always falls on the third Sunday in July — prime ice cream weather in the U.S. — and this year, that means it’ll take place on Sunday, June 21, 2024.

Alden’s Organic: You would win free ice cream for life if you won their National Ice Cream sweepstakes in 2023.
For National Ice Cream Day, 2023, Alden’s Organic Ice cream hosted a sweepstakes for one lucky winner to receive free ice cream for a year. All you had to do to enter is follow the instructions on their Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.
Baskin-Robbins: From July 16 to 22, 2023, you could have gotten $5 off orders of $20 or more from DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Postmates.
You could have grabbed a $5 discount from Baskin Robbins when you ordered from either DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Postmates. Plus, you could have received the same deal on the Baskin Robbins website or app when you used the code SEIZETHEYAY. This deal was only available from July 16 to 22, 2023.

Carvel: Get $5 off orders of $25 or more at participating stores on National Ice Cream Day.
At participating Carvel locations, you could have gotten $5 off orders of $25 or more on July 16, 2023 when you ordered through the Carvel website, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.
Cold Stone Creamery: My Cold Stone Club Rewards Received a In-App Mystery Offer Valid from July 14 – 20, 2023.
Some scoop shops just love the element of surprise. If you were a My Cold Stone Club Rewards member in 2023, a mystery offer would have been sent to your rewards account, which started uploading to inboxes on July 14, 2023. The surprise deal was valid from July 14 – 20, 2023. This offer was a one-time redemption, and redeeming was easy easy: just place an order online or in the app, using the one-time use code at checkout.
Additionally, My Cold Stone Club Rewards members received $0.99 delivery on any order of $20 or more when they order on ColdStoneCreamery.com or the official Cold Stone app through July 31. Dairy Queen: $1 off any Dipped Cone on July 16, 2023 through the app.
On July 16, 2023, users of the Dairy Queen app could have gotten $1 off Dipped Cones (regularly $3.99 – $5.19) — up to a 74.9% discount. This discount was limited to one per customer, and the deal would not work on Kids Cones.

Dippin’ Dots: Free mini cup of Dippin’ Dots at participating stores on National Ice Cream Day 2023.
On National Ice Cream Day 2023, you could have picked up a mini cup of Dippin’ Dots (priced at $6.29 depending on your location) for free at a random two hour period dependent on your local Dippin’ Dots.
Plus, you could have received 20% off online orders from the Dippin’ Dots website with promo code NICD2023.
DoorDash: If you bought two ice creams, you would get $5 off from July 13 to 19, 2023.
DoorDash celebrated the Summer of DashPass during National Ice Cream Month this year. That meant DashPass members could have gotten deals all month long. For National Ice Cream Day 2023, DoorDash gave DashPass members $5 off ice cream purchases when they ordered at least two ice creams.
Here were the eligible ice cream brands that could have gotten you this deal: Talenti, Ben & Jerry’s, Breyers, Popsicle, Magnum, Good Humor, and Klondike.
DoorDash also gave a discount on their limited edition summer exclusive ice cream flavors while supplies last. You were able to get a container of their Apple Strudel and a container of Peach with Chili Flakes for only $14.99 — a $5 discount.
Friendly’s: Single scoop cones were $0.88 from July 15 to 19, 2023.
When you visited a Friendly’s location from July 15 to 19, 2023, you could have gotten a single scoop of ice cream (regularly $4.69) for only $0.88 — a 81.2% discount. Plus, the first 88 people who visited a Friendly’s on July 16, 2023 got some free Friendly’s merch, a Happy Endings Sundae (regularly $4.99), and Monster Mash tattoos.
Insomnia Cookies: Free scoop of ice cream from July 14 to 16, 2023.
For National Ice Cream Day, 2023, Insomnia Cookies offered a free scoop of ice cream (regularly $4.35) with any purchase either in store or for local delivery. This deal was available for National Ice Cream Day weekend 2023 (July 14 to 16).

Whole Foods: Get up to 35% off all ice cream treats if you were an Amazon Prime Member from July 5 to 18, 2023.
Whole Foods celebrated National Ice Cream Month from July 5 to 18, 2023. Amazon Prime members could grab their ice cream and frozen treats for 35% off, and non-Prime members could get a 27% discount. This included brands like Jeni’s and Van Leeuwen ice creams.
