Not that we need another reason to shop Wayfair, but the retailer is getting in on the Black Friday in July madness with their very own Wayfair Black Friday in July sale. It was new in 2024 and ran for five days. What makes this sale special? With savings up to 80%, it has the biggest discounts you'll find at Wayfair, similar to the discounts on Way Day.

KCL predicts Wayfair Black Friday in July will be back July 22, 2027.

The 2026 Wayfair Black Friday in July Sale ran July 23 - 27, with up to 80% off furniture, decor and more. We think Wayfair will stick to the same timing and run Thursday - Monday (July 22 - 26) in 2027.

Tips for Shopping Wayfair

Wayfair can be great for quick, easy, and affordable home decor shopping, but it has its quirks. Here are a few tips for the best shopping experience possible.

Understand that the Wayfair return policy is pretty strict.

As far as store policies go, the Wayfair return policy doesn't leave a lot of room for error on the shopper's part. Returns must be made within 30 days of delivery, but there is a lengthy list of exclusions. Some products also incur return shipping fees, which depend on the size and weight of the item.

So make sure you're confident in what you're purchasing and aware of any return costs before you check out.

Consider Open Box items for even steeper savings.

If you shop the retailer enough, you'll notice Wayfair Open Box options are plentiful. These are items that were returned for various reasons but have been inspected by Wayfair and placed for sale again, but at a significant discount. If you're shopping during a sale, there may be an Open Box item up for grabs that's even cheaper than the sale price. It's worth the look. Just note that Open Box orders aren't returnable (remember that lengthy list of exclusions we mentioned?).
