National Popcorn Day means 50% off popcorn at these movie theaters.

AMC Theatres

The largest theater chain, AMC, will give everyone 50% off any size popcorn at all U.S. locations on National Popcorn Day, Jan. 19, 2023. You’ll get the discount automatically, whether you’re at the register or placing a mobile concession order.

Now, you don’t have to be an AMC Stubs loyalty member to get the discount, but if you are, you’ll be able to get a free refill on your half-off large popcorn.

AMC moviegoers can also take advantage of the 2023 Classic Refillable Popcorn Bucket; Stubs members pay $20.99 and then get refills all year long for $5.29 (and a same-day refill is free).

 

Cinemark Movie Theatres

Cinemark is taking 50% off their large popcorn (regularly $8) on Jan. 19, 2023 — National Popcorn Day.

The theater chain allows moviegoers to preorder snacks via smartphone or computer, and they’re delivered right to your seat. It’s called “Snacks in a Tap,” and Cinemark is rewarding customers who use Snacks in a Tap on National Popcorn Day will be entered to win free popcorn and soda at the theater for the rest of 2023. Five winners will be chosen.

You could also win a free large popcorn by following Cinemark on Instagram, commenting on their official National Popcorn Day post, and tagging three friends.

 

Regal Cinemas

All sizes of Regal Cinemas popcorn will be 50% off on National Popcorn Day, Jan. 19, 2023. You don’t have to be a member of Regal’s loyalty program to get this deal — but specialty popcorns like Cheetos popcorn and caramel corn don’t apply.
