It's that time of year: The decorations are up, sales are in full swing, festive music is playing . . . and Starbucks is busier than ever! But with most drinks running at $4 and above, treating yourself to lots of Starbucks coffee can easily eat up the holiday budget.

Luckily for Krazy Coupon Ladies, Starbucks is a company that offers lots of coupons and promotions. Their impressive 12 Days of Gifting promotion we recently told you about will soon to come to an end, but you can still get great deals on Starbucks coffee by using these tips:

Join the Starbucks Holiday Tasting Tour

Get a holiday beverage tasting card to enjoy all the Starbucks holiday drinks, and get extra perks from your purchases. Between now and Jan. 2, purchase any five holiday beverages from Starbucks, collect stickers on a tasting card, and redeem by March 4 for a free grande beverage (As if I needed an excuse to indulge in a Gingerbread Latte!)

Register for My Starbucks Rewards

This no-cost program awards points for coffee purchases at Starbucks, which then turn into free coffee! Enjoy the bonus of a free drink on your birthday.

Register for Disney Rewards

Though this is not a site that immediately comes to mind when thinking of Starbucks, you'll love the opportunity to earn free Starbucks cards as part of this Disney rewards program. Enter "Magic Codes" online (you'll get these codes whenever you purchase a new Disney movie) then, redeem for prizes. No Disney? No problem! Sign up anyway. You'll still score 100 free points on your birthday and get free codes in monthly e-mails. Also, check Family Fun Magazine for occasional free codes. In the last 9 months, I earned enough points (500) for a free $5 Starbucks gift card, which shipped at no cost.

Redeem Empty Coffee Bags

Save those 12 oz. bags of ground and whole bean coffee! When empty, redeem them at a Starbucks for a free tall brewed (12 oz.) coffee. Check the "Best Before" date printed on the bag, and be sure to redeem the bag no later than 30 days after that date.

Bring Your Own Mug

Starbucks gives a $0.10 discount on any coffee when you bring your own mug. Do this once a week for a year, and you just saved $5 (and a lot of unnecessary paper waste!)

Show Your Badge

Police officers get free drinks at some Starbucks locations. Most locations participating in this generous program have a visible posting about this policy, but if you don't see one, ask.

Use Online Printables

Printable coupons are routinely available for Starbucks products (including bags, iced coffees, VIAs, and more). Follow Starbucks on Facebook for more savings opportunities.

Starbucks at Home

And if you're just not in the mood to leave the house, you can make Starbucks at home with this free 32-page recipe book. I don't know about you, but this is the best gift Starbucks could have given me!

So happy holidays—and happy sipping!
