You guys — Target and Ulta are teaming up. And it’s coming soon.

You might’ve noticed that your local Target store’s beauty section has had a makeover in recent months. Seems like we now know why.

Here’s what you need to know.

Remember to bookmark the KCL Target coupons page.

Target will open 100 Ulta mini-stores in August.

This August, 100 Targets are taking the “store-within-a-store” approach and bringing Ulta Beauty’s established and emerging prestige brands alongside Target’s existing products.

Here are some of the brands expected to make an appearance:

  • bareMinerals
  • Urban Decay
  • Smashbox
  • Ulta Beauty Collection
  • Bumble and bumble
  • Ariana Grande
  • Clinique
  • Josie Maran

Shoppers can use Target discounts and Ulta rewards.

Target’s Ulta mini-shops let you use Target Circle discounts, as well as take advantage of Ulta’s Ultamate Rewards.

Plus, you can use your Target RedCard for an extra 5% off.

No word on whether Ulta gift cards will be accepted at Target.

With the new partnership, the one big question is whether or not you’ll be able to use an Ulta gift card at Target.

I’d assume so, since in-store Starbucks accept Starbucks gift cards. But I’ll update you as soon as I get confirmation.

Ulta will also be part of Target.com.

Don’t live close to any of the 100 Targets with Ulta mini shops? No problem! You can still shop Ulta items on Target.com without even leaving the house.

800 Target Ulta mini-stores will open in the next few years.

Target says this is just the beginning. Within the next few years, we should see 800 mini-Ultas pop up in Target stores. That’s almost half the Targets in the country!

Is a Target Ulta mini shop coming near you? Check out the full store list and let the KCL community know in the comments.
