No Proof Needed to Claim $15 in Vizzy Settlement

If you’ve ever had one of those Vizzy vitamin-infused hard seltzers, you’ll wanna perk up; you may be able to get some Vizzy settlement dollars.

Vizzy’s parent company, Molson Coors, has agreed to pay $9.5 million to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging that Vizzy products were misleadingly marketed as having “antioxidant Vitamin C from the acerola superfruit.”

Molson Coors hasn’t admitted to any wrongdoing, but they did agree to remove the label and phrase from all marketing and promotion.

We’ll tell you how to get some of those Vizzy dollars, how much you’ll get in this class-action settlement, and when to expect a payout.

 

You qualify for the Vizzy settlement if you bought any Vizzy drinks since 2020.

You’re officially eligible for Vizzy settlement dollars if you purchased any of the Vizzy hard seltzer products between Jan. 1, 2020, and March 10, 2023.

Here are some of the Vizzy products that qualify for the settlement:

3. Strawberry Kiwi
4. Black Cherry Lime
5. Watermelon Strawberry
6. Raspberry Tangerine
7. Lemonade
8. Peach Lemonade
9. Watermelon
10. Blackberry Lemon

 

You can get up to a $15 payout with no proof of purchase.

If you’re eligible for a payout in the Vizzy settlement, you’ll file a claim at the official website, vizzysettlement.com, where you’ll give your name, contact info, and Vizzy purchase history. (To file a claim, you have to claim at least $6.)

According to the settlement site, claimants get $5 per unit for 24-pack Vizzy hard seltzer packs and $3 per unit for 12-pack Vizzy hard seltzer packs. You don’t have to have proof of purchase for any claims $15 or less. Beyond that, though, you gotta share receipts.

 

 

File a Vizzy settlement claim by June 6, 2023 — and get paid by fall.

The deadline for filing a Vizzy settlement claim is June 6, 2023, and once that deadline has passed, the court will review the settlement and give it final approval. And once that happens, it typically takes 60 – 90 days to process and distribute payments. (What is a class-action lawsuit? We’ll give you an overview about how they work.)
