International House of…BURGERS?! Say what?!
It’s true. On Monday, June 11th IHOP flipped their “P” for Pancakes into a “B” in a killer marketing stunt to promote their new line of craft burgers. And it worked.
But don’t worry, IHOP is still officially called IHOP and you can continue to order all the breakfast items you’ve loved for years in addition to seven incredible-sounding hamburgers like the Mega Monster, Big Brunch and Cowboy BBQ — all served with unlimited fries.
If you’re into hamburgers and are planning a trip to your local restaurant to see what all the fuss is about, here are some savings tips you should know — especially if there are pancake lovers in your party OR if you decide on a side of pancakes with your burger…because, why not?!
1. Kids eat free at IHOP between 4 – 10:00 PM.
Buy one adult entree, get a kids entree for free when you dine in at IHOP between the hours of 4:00 and 10:00 PM. Some locations offer this daily, while others — like the restaurant near me — only provide this perk on Thursdays. Check with your local IHOP for specific details.
2. Order online and save $5.
That bad boy you see above is IHOP’s new brunch burger. A hash brown patty, bacon and an egg on top of a Black Angus burger — with queso?! *DROOL*
Now you can request IHOP goodies online, pick up your food at the restaurant and get $5 off when you spend at least $25 on your first online order. So go ahead, indulge in all the new burgers from the privacy of your own home. No pants needed.
Use IHOPNGO at checkout.
3. Get a free Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity stack as soon as you join the Pancake Revolution.
Joining IHOP’s free Pancake Revolution loyalty program is one of the easiest ways to get free food.
Upon signing up, you’ll receive a coupon for a free Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity pancake stack. Then, you’ll get them for free again on your sign-up anniversary…and again on your birthday!
4. Eat at IHOP on Halloween, Veterans Day and National Pancake Day.
IHOP has several days throughout the year when they give away free pancakes. Here are a few dates you should definitely mark on your calendar!
Halloween: Kids 12 and under get a spooky pancake, usually from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
Veterans Day: Get a complimentary stack of patriotic red, white and blue pancakes with proof of military service.
National Pancake Day: Every year, participating IHOPs offer a free short stack of pancakes to customers. In return, they hope you’ll consider donating to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or designated local charities.
