To make sure you’re saving as much money as possible, I broke down this year’s Nordstrom Rack sale schedule (including when we expect those Clear the Rack sales), so you can shop at the absolute best times. But it’s not as simple as circling a date on your calendar; you’re going to have to keep one eye open, because Nordstrom isn't exactly regular with the timing of its sales.

During February, Nordstrom Rack offers almost-daily flash sales for post-holiday shoppers. Check their Flash Events page throughout the month. These limited-time promotions give you the chance to find some pretty deep discounts on specific kinds of items and brands. During February 2025, we found 40% off select boots, 40% off select clearance sweaters, up to 60% off Steve Madden, and up to 65% off Calvin Klein and Nike.

What is the best day to shop at Nordstrom Rack?

New Nordstrom markdowns and flash sales can land on any day. But there are a few strategic days to plan a shopping trip. First up, keep an eye out for new markdowns on Mondays (not necessarily every Monday, though). In general, their seasonal clearance sales (which are usually 40% off end-of-season merchandise) usually start on Mondays and run 2 - 3 weeks. Another smart day to shop would be the first day of the Clear the Rack sale, to give yourself the largest possible selection.
