Starbucks for Life is an annual game for Starbucks Rewards members, with the chance to win over 10 million prizes, including — you guessed it — Starbucks for life.
If you're one of the winners lucky enough to score Starbucks for life, you'll get a daily credit in your Starbucks account for one free drink or food item for the next 30 years. And there are other prizes too. In December 2025, those prizes included bonus Stars, free coffee and bakery items, and the coveted glass Bearista cup.
Since we've been seeing fewer Starbucks deals lately, this is a great time to rack up some bonus Starbucks Stars and earn free Starbucks drinks.

How to Play Starbucks for Life
You'll need the Starbucks Rewards program to get started. It's free to join, and along with access to the Starbucks for Life game, you'll also get access to Starbucks Bonus Star promotions which earn you free coffee and merch.
When the game returns, visit the Starbucks for Life landing page and play to win. Players will complete a digital game for a chance at the prizes. Alternatively, you can opt to skip the game and just claim your Instant Prize or entry for the day.
Use the alternate entry method to play for free.
You'll earn game entries by either making a purchase or by using the alternate entry method in the Starbucks app to enter without making a purchase (completely free). You'll have to fill out a brief questionnaire, though. You can earn two entries per day.
You can earn bonus entries each week.
In addition to the two entries you can earn every day (see above), you can earn additional ones (up to two per week) for completing tasks like buying gift cards, purchasing specific drinks or food items, or even buying Starbucks on a weekend.
