Which wireless provider has the best military discount?
In terms of raw dollars, the provider with the best discount varies depending on how many lines you have. Let’s take a look at the AT&T vs the Verizon military discount and the T-Mobile military discount.
Best military discount on one cell phone line:
If you’re just getting a single line, AT&T has the best deal. T-Mobile is next on the list, and Verizon is the most expensive.
Best military discount on two or more cell phone lines:
Depending on which plan you get, Verizon and T-Mobile are ridiculously competitive. The difference in price on the rare occasions where one does beat out the other only comes out to $2 – $5 per line. In this case, the perks may make the decision for you rather than the price point.
If you’re into Netflix more than any other streaming platform, T-Mobile is going to be the choice for you. If you prefer options like Hulu, Disney+, or ESPN+, you’ll probably prefer Verizon.
Verizon Fios has the best military discount at high speeds.
Similarly, if you’re getting slower internet speeds, you may find AT&T‘s internet military discount to be more valuable. But at the 1G speed, you’re going to save more with Verizon Fios in terms of raw dollars.
