Hybrid products don’t always work, but when they do, they really do. This is probably why stroller wagons have become so popular for families recently — they’re dual functioning and offer major benefits, no matter how you use them. While a stroller wagon is great for schlepping around your toddler, your family’s collection of beach stuff or both at once.

Many experienced stroller wagon pushers consider the nearly $700 Wonderfold the Holy Grail of wagons. It doesn’t go on sale often, but military, veterans, first responders, medical workers, and teachers can get a 15% discount code for stroller wagon purchases from Wonderfold online.

There are cheaper wagons available, and some are more budget-friendly with deals and coupons. Here are the best stroller wagons based on price.

The Best Stroller Wagons

1. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

An Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon on a white background

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is unique because you can actually secure your Evenflo car seat inside for the youngest passengers. Up to two kids can fit inside, and the UV-protection canopies can either be adjusted or removed during your sunny strolls.

It’s listed at $399.99 on Evenflo’s website, but you can buy it for $343.49 right now at Target or Amazon.

2. Modes Adventure Stroller Wagon

The Modes Adventure Stroller Wagon folds up 30% smaller than most stroller wagons and offers both a push and a pull option depending on whether you want to use it as a stroller or a wagon. The all-terrain tires are a nice feature for families who need to haul their stuff around.

You can get this model for $449 at Target, Amazon, and Buybuy Baby.

3. Joey The Wagon

I’ve personally used the Joey The Wagon, and it definitely comes in handy. It also has a push/pull handle option, and the tires are good to go just about anywhere. There are foot breaks to prevent it from strolling on down the street without you, and it can fold in half. I will say actually getting it to fold compactly isn’t always easy to accomplish, but it rides smoothly, and it’s pretty light to pick up and jam in the back of your car.

It’s a little pricier than other stroller wagons, retailing for $689 at most stores.

4. Veer All-Terrain Cruiser

A Veer All-Terrain Cruiser stroller wagon on a white background

The Veer All-Terrain Cruiser stroller wagon was the first of its kind, and it’s still considered to be a premium product. It boasts the same features as most of the stroller wagons above, but it doesn’t come with a canopy. There is, however, a snack and drink tray and two cup holders — a nice feature for its target audience, toddlers. The Veer cruiser also comes with two ergonomic passenger seats with 3-point safety harnesses, as well as a footwell and high sidewalls for safety. Unlike most stroller wagons, it maxes out at 110 pounds. It’s nice to be able to tote around your little one and your big kid if you need to. For families who might use a wagon like this almost daily (cost comes out to about $1.92 per day), a durable stroller wagon might be well worth it.

You can get this model for $699. Or get a 5% discount using your Target RedCard.

5. Jeep Wrangler Stroller Wagon

There are three ways to ride in this Jeep Wrangler Stroller Wagon: car seat mode, stroller mode, and wagon mode. So if you’re looking for something that grows with your kids, this is a solid option. It’s designed to carry babies as young as six months old and has a maximum weight capacity of 110 pounds. The UV canopy is removable, and it can fold up neatly to sit in the back of your car. There isn’t a snack tray, but there are multiple pouches on the outside to store toys, snacks, water, or whatever else you might need. The Jeep stroller wagon doesn’t perform as an all-terrain stroller wagon like other models, however.

The Deluxe version retails for $399 at Amazon, but you can snag the regular Jeep stroller wagon for $319 at Target.

6. Radio Flyer

A classic is a classic for a reason, right? The Radio Flyer stroller wagon brings back all the nostalgia for millennial and GenX parents; plus it’s by far the most affordable version available. There’s a 5-point safety harness, a cover to protect little ones from the sun (and can be rolled up if you need it to be), a push/pull option, and a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. The handle is adjustable, and the whole thing folds up very compactly. It may not be an all-terrain vehicle for your kiddos, but it’s probably the best stroller wagon based on value.

While it retails for $199, you can get this Radio Flyer for just $169.99 at Target.

7. Delta Children Hercules Stroller Wagon

A Delta Childrens Hercules Stroller Wagon.

For being the second cheapest on our list, the Delta Children Hercules stroller wagon brings plenty of features you’ll appreciate long after your kiddos outgrow it. With weather-resistant fabric, removable UV-blocking canopy, and mesh roll-down shade, this stroller wagon is ready for any outdoor activities, rain or shine. It folds compactly and has two cushioned seats that hold up to a total of 110 pounds. Pockets and drink holders inside and out make storing items easy. Once you’re done carting your kids around in the Delta Hercules, use it to haul things like gardening essentials or groceries.

You can pick up the Delta Children Hercules stroller wagon at Target for $209.99. Use your Target RedCard for a 5% discount.
