The Starbucks winter menu drops every year in early January, and then we always see a second drop — Starbucks Winter 2.0, if you will — in early February. This year, the first round of winter items (including the new Dubai Chocolate Mocha) will arrive on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026. Based on prior years, the second drop will likely be Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026.
The winter menu lineup so far has five new drinks and a new breakfast item, along with the return of the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew and Pistachio Latte.
The Starbucks holiday menu drinks are the same price this year as last year, so we don't predict an increase in Starbucks prices for the January release. That said, drinks are still pricey, so we've got Starbucks hacks to help you get the best Starbucks deals on the winter menu products. Each of the new winter menu items are 200 Star items, which means you can get them FREE if you have 200 Starbucks Stars saved up in your Starbucks app.
If you’re not getting free Starbucks by earning Starbucks Rewards Stars, you’re missing out. My absolute favorite Starbucks hack is to use 100 Stars on a free coffee and customize it to create one of the Starbucks winter drinks. So instead of using 200 Stars to score a free Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, get a free Starbucks coffee with half the Stars by customizing an iced coffee.
