It’s Trolls World Tour premiere day, and although nobody’s going to be watching the animated sequel in theaters, Walmart’s official watch party is generating excitement about the new digital release.

We’ve got a whole list of theater movies you can watch now on digital, but today belongs to the Trolls. Here’s what you need to know about the Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake sequel:

Walmart is hosting a Trolls red carpet event at 5:30pm Eastern on Twitter.

Starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 10, Walmart’s Twitter page will host the official virtual red carpet event for Trolls World Tour. The live video event will include movie trivia, talk about the movie, and an appearance by Kenan Thompson, who plays “Tiny Diamond” in the movie.

Check out the premiere party page to get Trolls makeup and hair tutorials, as well as printables and other freebies.

After the red carpet, Walmart and VUDU will host a watch party at 6 p.m.

Walmart is encouraging Trolls fans to rent the movie from its video service, VUDU ($13.99 for 48 hours — cheapest price around) and press “play” right at 6 p.m. Eastern.

When you sync with the watch party and keep tabs on the Walmart Twitter page, you’ll get realtime movie facts, behind-the-scenes clips, trivia, polls, and more.

Viewers can join the conversation with the Twitter hashtag #WalmartWatchParty.

Can’t make the party? You can still rent Trolls World Tour.

VUDU’s $13.99 price point is unbeatable right now, although you can still rent it from Amazon Prime Video ($19.99), Redbox ($19.99), and iTunes ($19.99). All of the rentals are 48 hours.

And if you’re not happy about the $19.99 price point, just remember, for a family of four, the price per person ends up being $5 — way cheaper than going to the movies.

And you can always host your own premiere party — Trolls has released a free premiere party pack.
