The Wayfair Black Friday sale officially started on Nov. 21 and ran through Nov. 24, 2023. We saw select categories — like area rugs — up to 80% off. And then select items in bedroom and living room furniture are marked down by up to 65%. And, side note, we found a desk that was marked at 82% off! While browsing the Black Friday deals last year, we found a $44 pre-lit 6-foot Christmas tree and an $85 accent cabinet. They also offered free shipping on everything, with no minimum spend. Along with 70% – 80% off, Wayfair also brought back their credit card promotion. Instead of spending $250 to earn a $40 credit, you’d earn $40 on your first qualifying order of just $100. This promo ran through Dec. 8, 2023.

The official Wayfair Black Friday sale was live from Nov. 21 – Nov. 24, 2023.
The Wayfair Black Friday sale kicked off on Nov. 21 and, as we predicted, many of the deals lasted for one day only. Then they began their Cyber Deals that ran a full week, all the way to Dec. 4. Their best deals, as usual, were on furniture — with up to 80% off select items. Most of our favorite deals were around 50% off and you’re going to want to aim for that 50% off in 2024 to know you’re getting a good deal.
The Early Access sale began on Nov. 9 and had some noteworthy discounts in a few categories. Here are the best ones we saw in the early sale.

Tips for saving even more during the Wayfair Black Friday sale.
Keep an eye out for a percent-off discount.
Earlier in 2023, Wayfair ditched their extra 10% off coupon for new customers. And unfortunately, they didn’t bring it back for Black Friday or Way Day sales this fall. They currently offer a one-time 10% discount when you sign up for text promotions.
Look for deals and price matches at Wayfair’s sister sites.
Wayfair’s sister sites Joss & Main, Birch Lane, and AllModern had sales running at the same time. While each site has its own brand, they all fall under the Wayfair company umbrella. You’ll often see the same products listed on multiple sites, but you won’t always see the same prices. Check for the same items (likely under different names) at lower prices before you check out. And take a look at the coupon codes you can use at the other brands in the Wayfair family.

The Wayfair Credit Card gets you a decent 5% cash back.
Cardmembers can take an additional 5% off with their Wayfair credit card and as we predicted, Wayfair had a promotion for new cardholders to take $40 off their first $100 purchase (regularly a $250 minimum spend) with a Wayfair card during their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
The Wayfair Cyber Monday sale started on Monday, Nov. 27, and had up to 80% off rugs, furniture, décor, and more.
We always watch for deals that hit over 80% off in this sale, because those are always going to be the ones to jump on. There were some items discounted only around 30%, which is the absolute lowest discount you should accept in this sale in 2024.

So what should you shop for in next year’s Cyber Monday sale at Wayfair? You should definitely keep an eye out for deals on the following:

Wayfair Way Day vs. Black Friday or Cyber Monday? Way Day is better, IMHO.
To be perfectly honest, these sales are pretty similar. But if we had to choose, Wayfair Way Day is actually a slightly better sale. This 48-hour event happens twice per year — in April and October. We just covered the most recent Way Day sale on Oct. 25 – 26, 2023. . . Just as we predicted! The 2023 sale in April was extended to three days and we saw over 80% off on select furniture and outdoor items. With this being their biggest sale each year, the sales popping up in November and through Black Friday seem a little lackluster.

We predict the 2024 Wayfair Way Day to begin on or around April 24, 2024. These were the best deal categories we saw during the 2023 April Way Day so you know what to look for in the spring.
